This is good please what is the price of cucumbers now in bags , I heard it has crashed.am harvesting from today please.

.
12 to 16k per bag in onitsha

Is this for medium scale farmers too?

Musty112:
His first mistake he did is admitting that he poisoned the farm. He should have kept mute and insist that he wants to go to court. Once the matter is in court, the parties are not going back to the police station. The police will rather extort both the complainant and the farmer with endless billings. Let him get a lawyer

.
Wise advice. Policemen are quite heartless

Start small first and grow. But you can plant mainly cassava and then try harder crops like pepper, cucumber etc.

Nice post but self promo is too glaring. Delete the last part and I'll help push it to front.

Nice post. But self promotion too much. Delete the last part and I'll help push it to front page

It depends on the the type of farm products to convey. If it's poultry or catfish, I think sienna is ok but if you're into cassava , yam, goat etc Truck will be better

To minimize scam, every seller in Agric section must identify themselves properly. Include the following information on the first post you make:

1. Your real name
2. Your office/home address
3. A passport photograph
3. Picture of the product you're selling. You should be holding the product or standing beside it.
4. A picture of you holding a placard or paper, with "Nairaland.com" written on it

Failure to do so may get your thread deleted or you banned.

If you're interested in safe buying and selling on Agric section, come in here. This thread is strictly for that.

To know more about it or ask questions, read this: https://www.nairaland.com/8408370/buy-sell-safely-agric-section.

I have bought some things safely from Nairalanders in the past. But just few days ago I wanted purple fleshed sweet potato vines from this lady [sefani(f)] here: https://www.nairaland.com/8387261/purple-fleshed-sweet-potato-vines.

Here is what happened. Another person contacted me via whatsapp, claiming to be the lady. It was a guy. I was too busy to noticed. I asked him few questions b4 paying. He did not deliver. He no longer pick my calls or reply my whatsapp. I lost N9k.

Please note, the lady, sefani(f), did not scam me. It was another person that impersonated her that scammed me.

To tackle scams, we're now introducing escrow service on agric section and here is how it works:

1. Before you buy, ask the seller to send you pictures or videos of the product. His face should appear and he should hold a paper with "Nairaland.com/agric" written on it.

2. Make sure it is what you want. Ask questions.

3. Payment: Instead of paying directly to the seller, you pay to agric moderator. Agric mod will now transfer the money to the seller after you receive the product satisfactorily.

4. Escrow charges: For now, this service attracts N1000 charge.

5. Moderator Contact: Visit this thread to use our escrow service:

I hope this is good.

for sometime now we have been thinking how best to utilize the space that is left open in a pepper farm for more than 80 days before the pepper foliage covers the space,we did a small test with watermelon and it proved to be perfect,we harvested the first batch melon in 65 days, not only does it utilize the space to maximize production it also uses effectively the manure and fertilizer applied to the pepper, hot pepper been a low/medium feeder at vegetative stage uses less nutrients and the rest are washed down beyond the root zone., furthermore we discovered that pruning watermelon to one single vine and one fruit per crop gives a very large fruit that is sold from #2k upwards and that is what makes the space utilization possible
We scaled up to 2000 hot pepper and 2000 watermelon in the same land, growing and fruiting in perfect unity.

.
I've always wanted to try this. Thanks for sharing.

I'm reaching out for advice from fellow farmers and agric experts. My healthy bell pepper plants have started to change color, shrink, and even die off. I'm not sure what's causing the problem.

Could it be due to heat, disease, pests, or something else? I'd greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to solve this problem. I'm not a happy man right now coz i was hoping to cash out this Christmas

It might be fusarium or bacteria wilt. Soil borne. Triggered by high temperature, high soil moisture, root damage etc.

Just plant in open field next time. And treat soil with agrigaurd and Greenland ga. When they're still little, i like to water them with chlorpyrifos solution to tackle nematodes.

a MOG??

Ok, which of the heavens did Jesus referred to as God's kingdom in his parables

.
MOG man of God
.
Of course God occupy the highest. God's kingdom won't be limited to heaven. The new earth is part of it

paxonel:
So where is heaven?

How is heaven different from the HEAVENS?
What is the clouds and what is the heavens ?

.
There are many heavenly places. The 1st heaven is what we see. There is second, 3rd etc heavens.Fallen angels occupy a lower heaven while God is in the highest. I've 4gotten how a MOG said it

@FarmTech the bible is a unique book that is not as simple as a mere novel.

Let me just consider one or 2 of the points raised.

Gen 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Where was God when he created heaven and earth?

.
What about other points? As for this one u raised, fact is that God can choose to be anywhere - known or unknown. But the bible let us know that He lives in heaven and judge from heaven.
