banjula: Performance solid, dbanj is really on top of the world meanwhile I heard don jazzy produced the track, is this true or falsefalse! Totally false! |
If u check ur account balance on mtn, u wuld even see mtn congratulating nigeria and advertising dbanj top of d world as caller tune. Eja n la has overcomed d hate! |
Kx: While singing his hit song Oliver Twist, I love the part where Don Jazzy name needed to be mentioned and Dbanj echoed DON JAZZY.you mean it? I didnt notice it myself but it is commendable if he did that, giving honour to whom it is due! |

akikanju: My gosh! How much wuld dbanj be paid for this hilarious performance?lol. Do u mean oh gosh! or my God! |
akikanju: Dbanj has clearly shown d rest dat he is indeed King!he is and nigeria is the king of africa |
Aygem: Other acts that performed included South Africa’s Zonke, Kelly Khumalo, Micasa, Thembesile Ntaka and Kenya’s Muthoni. akikanju: who are these unknown artiste artiste. Na only micasa i hear b4 oh.they are also popular in their countries bro! |
By the way, safari girl? |
I have always known dbanj would prove pessimists wrong. Even without he joining GOOD MUSIC, he would still rule Africa! This I know! |
I tink dbanj has been getting popular more wit positive and negative reception he has been getting since the mohits break up. |
safarigirl: p-square's awards are limited cos they are a duo, groups aren't nominated in many cats...and even when they are, well...you can tell me how many groups win awards to begin with...ur arguements are grossly invalid. If awards cant be used as templates for stardom? Wat do u wanna use then? You talked abt shakespeare ryt? Dat was dose days awards werent given. Wat did u tink made wole soyinka different from chinua achebe,is it not d nobel laurate award? And achebe's "things fall apart" is arguably africa's most popular novel. But soyinka gat more achievements cos of d award of nobel laurate, higher than any chinua achebe won. In essence, the number and importance of awards won matters in rating' |
airmark: What else do you want from dbanj fans that you dont know? No matter how hard you try to shift the goal post to score cheap points, your shots keep hitting the cross bar. How do you justify an african cup of nations victory is better than that of a world cup? Let psquare continues to be king in africa while Dbanj rules in the global realm.dats it,singing d caf nations cup theme song and campaigning for the president of the most populous black nation is a testimony to that! Wat evidence can be greater than that? |
odizzy: well said bro, well said. "listening to top of d world" hmmm fils gud 2 be a fan of dbanj, so so proud of him. Bad belle(safarigirl) go hang ur sef. And pls stp comparing dbanj wt dos copy catsdbanj all d way joor! |
Aygem: in as much as i love psquare constitency, dbanj has be strangely consistent,he had not released an album since 2008 when he released entertainer , despite this, he remained relevant, carting away numerous awards with many endorsements ranging from campaigning and the subsequent release of a track for the nations president in the build up to the 2011 elections. this can be termed strange and bizarre constitency, an artiste without an album for more than four years still doing it big in the industry. psquare gat better lyrics and sings better with good dance steps coupled with a good female fan base while dbanj is more of a swag man and can be a marketable ambassador of products with his charisma and this, not really his songs distinguish him from the rest. in awards won, dbanj has an edge but in musical composition, psquare are better.my broda has said it all but i u said psquare has good female fan base but d kokomaster equally have a good fan base. But i love your neutral judgement over this issue. |
safarigirl: Stats so faryou said no digressions right? But you are proving to be the judge and d lawyer in dis case at d same time. U created a topic on dis thread, on two artistes(dbanj and psquare) and you want people to comment fairly bt instead u posted only psquare concert pix alone,y didnt u also put dbanj concerts if any? Or do u wanna say dbanj has no concerts? Be it as it may, dbanj and psquare are gud and consistent artistes that i cherish and d atmosphere is wide enuf to accomodate thousand birds. Y comparing dbanj and psquare? |
But the track; "gone are d days" appears whack. Just saying |
ace1: DavidO is not a Hip Hop starthen wat is he? |
