For about two days now I have stopped receiving new topic notifications on my downloaded nairaland application.
I deleted and redownloaded d application, yet it still d same problem.
Is there anybody having same issue and how do I rectify this problem?

Dear Nairalanders,

In the past, you could monitor topics posted by the people you're following by simply viewing your Followed Topics, but there was no way to efficiently monitor their posts. Today, we've added a "Following" page to Nairaland to make it easier to track the posts made by people you're following. Please check it out as soon as you can and let me know about any issues you may have with it.

(If you don't find the page compelling, you should consider un-following people whose interests are not similar to yours, regardless of how cute they might be. They will still be able to send you messages using the new protocol, if they want to.)

We have also altered our Updated Topic Notification feature to make it less annoying. The new settings are extremely conservative.

Open your device's Settings.

on most android devices, this can be done by going to your phone's launcher application and clicking on the settings application icon.

you should see a screen similar to this:

Click on "Apps"

you should see a screen similar to the image below

scroll to the "Nairaland Forum" and click on it.
when the page opens, click on the button labelled "Clear data".

Clicking the button will show you a prompt. Click "Ok".

You can now go to your Launcher and launch the Nairaland Forum app to re-register your app with Nairaland so as to continue receiving frontpage topic update notification.

click uninstall and wait for the app to uninstall and then click install again. this should also reset the app.
Launch the app and click "register" to initiate registration.

I WANT TO MAKE A SUGGESTION, IF YOU CAN FOLLOW IT, IT WILL WORK OUT, ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS TO JUST SINGLE EACH GAME IN NETHERLANDS: Eerste Divisie JUST SINGLE EACH GAME OVER3.5 Or OVER4.5...... there is 8 match in the league today atlest 5 we play over3.5 or over4.5 and each carry 4odd each, so let do the calculation. For example you play each game over4.5 with #200 and the odd is 4.00.... calculate d rest you will make big profit.
