Thanks in advance.

Area of the frame = Area of the (picture+frame) - Area of picture
Dimension of picture = 7cm by 9cm
Dimension of (picture+frame) = 8cm by 10cm (1/2cm on either sides of the dimension of the picture)
Therefore, Area of frame = (10*8 ) - (9*7)
= 80 - 63
= 17sq cm. (C)

Its no longer news that this year's direct entry's registration has taken a new dimension with the introduction of jamb registration number used to gain admission as part of the registration requirements. The problem now is that we that did part time in our ND days have no jamb registration number to tender. So my fellow nairalanders, whats the way forward o. Has any part time student successfully completed the DE registration?

Please house, compliments of the season o. I'll like to know if it's safe to apply for both direct entry and utme at the same time into UI. Although, I'm aware that one can only be given one admission, I just want to know if it's possible for the name to surface in both list for the candidate to choose 1.
Secondly, is it possible to cross over from mathematics department to computer science department in 200 level.
Please, I need answers based on live witnesses and experience. Happy New year to y'all in advance

you're very good to go.. Just have your 200 and above in jamb and above 50 in postjamb and your name will automatically be on the list by God's own grace.. Good luck.. And as for indigenes,the stress before entering ain't much so far you're really a lagosian..and lagosians even have more opportunities of being awarded as many scholarships as possible.. So I implore you guys to start searching for scholarship applications...as soon as next year begins,lol... It pays to be a Lagosian,really!! God's Favour is yours.. Amen

agafiya: The question itself says how many volume of 0.4mole of NaCl can be found in 0.585g of NaCl. Does the question also treat it as gas?
Back to my own analysis; 1mole = 58.5g = 22.4dm3 of NaCl.

You know I could as well say that 1mol = 58.5g= 27cm3 and I would also be correct? Since NaCl is not a gas, we can't assume that it's molar volume is 22.4dm3 The question itself is illogical to some extent I think.

1) 1MOLE of NACL gives 58.5g of NaCl, therefore, 0.4MOLE of NaCl will give: 0.4 × 58.5 = 23.4g.
58.5g of NaCl is equal to 22.4dm3, therefore, 23.4g of NaCl will give: 23.4 × 22.4 ÷ 58.5 = 8.96dm3. Since 58.5 ÷ 100 = 0.585, therefore 8.96 ÷ 100 = 0.0896dm3 or 89.6cm3.

How come? @the bolded. NaCl is not a gas na. The molar volume off every gas is 22.4dm3 but not NaCl. I stand to be corrected though

If you truly understand chemistry and what he said, you'll realise that he's trying to tell you that you're wrong. And you making reference of lamlad's textbook makes no sense at all, or if you come across a textbook today which says sodium chloride is an acid or chlorine is a an example of metal, does that mean you'll accept that? My advice for you is never to rely on textbooks alone for controversial concepts like this, the internet(which contains noted from international organisations and not just Nigerian or African lecturers) is always there to clarify things for you. The more I try to ignore this, the difficult it becomes for me.
