Portugal and Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Ballon d’Or for a fourth time on Monday night, beating Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann to world football’s top individual prize for 2016.

Ronaldo, who previously won the award in 2008, and in 2013 and 2014 when it was officially the FIFA Ballon d’Or, is only the second player to win it a total of four times, trailing only Messi’s record of five.

The honour caps a memorable year that saw Ronaldo win the Champions League with Real Madrid and the European Championship with Portugal the country’s first major footballing silverware.

Ronaldo, 31, has scored 51 goals in 54 games for club and country in 2016.

The pain comedians go through just to make their audience and fans laugh sometimes can make them cry. It’s actually not an easy task.
Actress, Funke Akindele who is widely known as Jenifa has expressed the pain she’s passing through being the one writing, playing lead roles and also assisting director in her popular comedy TV show, Jenifa’s Diary.

In her words:
“We have actually filmed the 5th season but we are airing the fourth right now and we would soon begin shooting the sixth season.
“I must confess that I am tired because it is not easy writing, playing the lead character, assisting the director and also supervising the whole project.
“It is not easy writing a comedy script but each time I want to put it to rest, people tell me that the last season was lovely and they keep asking what would be happening in seasons to come.
They still want to see more because everyone loves Jenifa.
I believe that Jenifa is a brand that has come to stay because we use her as a vessel to pass messages across to young people.
“I don’t see Jenifa’s Dairy coming to an end [but] being an actor/actress is not easy not to talk of being a comedian/comedienne.
It is really difficult to think of something fresh and new. When I started Jenifa’s Diary, I knew I had to start the story afresh because some people did not see the movie.
“I was concerned about how I was going to do something totally different from the movie.
When it was time to shoot Season 2, I felt I had to move away from what I did in Season 1 and that was the same dilemma I faced in Season 3″, she stressed.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says Alex Iwobi's decision to play for Nigeria and not England is a loss to the Three Lions of England. 19 year old Iwobi has scored in his last two games for Arsenal and in their last match against Watford scored a goals and assisted another, leaving bigger players like Theo Walcott and Joel Campbell on the bench.
England persuaded Iwobi and his family to play for them after evaluating his talent and enormous potential but the attacker, who is also nephew to Austin Jay Jay Okocha opted to play for the country of his birth- Nigeria.
“Is he a loss for England? Yes,” Wenger said.
“We have values in our club that are maybe not rated always, but one of them is to give a chance to young people and educate them. “Every year we bring players out and not many can say that. I’m happy Alex is one of them.”
Wenger concedes that Iwobi's rapid development has been surprising to witness, but says the forward who made his competitive debut for Nigeria during the lastinternational break has been working on his skills all season long.
"The fans have seen many good players over the years and they know straight away when a player has something special, so they acknowledge that," Wenger told Arsenal Player.
"You cannot cheat people. They've seen how quickly Alex's improved and how well he's played.
"It's surprising how quickly he's integrated into our game. He's worked with us since the start of the season and he has grown, gained confidence and when he came in he had an impact straight away.
"That's benefited from the fact that he knows everybody and they trust him as well. I didn't expect that level of efficiency or impact on the scoresheet.

This raised a lot of eyebrows in town and it sprung up some fresh beefs and fierce within the stars, especially Odunlade Adekola because it was reported that the issue has caused some rift in his home.
It all started when She baby had a movie shoot recently,and Kemi Afolabi happened to be one of the characters. She ought to come 10 am,but she got to the location 5 pm. She had just three scenes with ,and I was paid fully already for her role. She was angry Kemi already disrupted part of what she intended using her for because she didn’t come as scheduled.
