hi, i'm trying to develop a web application using asp.net and mssql,
i want a user to log in using fingerprint. pls help as I dnt even know where to start from
a sample code to store fingerprints in the database, read the fingerprints and compare to verify would be highly appreciated

Any1 pls, what was I supposed to say & could u back it up with an example e.g a programmers description of a payroll programme,

I would like to know how websites such as cnn.com keep their pages cos u could get a page that was written as far back as 2003 and I know that it would be senseless to upload that much pages, Pls Som1 should answer this question, thanks,

I would like a form to load immediately at system startup, Its to provide a custom login, The problems I have are -
1. Code to make the form load immediate u put on d system
2. To prevent closure of d form using alt + f4.

This is out of the topic but please I need help to deploy a project I developed. Its workin perfectly on my syst with sql2000 but when I try using it on a syst with sql2005 with same initial catalog name & password, it gives me an error, Error occurred while establishin connection to server, This may be due to fact that server does not allow remote connections ,
Please what can I do?

I found out to do it using the openfiledialog. Thanks for the help thus far.
I copied the .exe file for my project on to the target system & it worked but when I want to install the setup file I created for it, it says .Net framework is not available. Is there any way to go around this or I have to install visual studio on the target system. Thanks for the help

I'll just like to know au much of d theories i'm being taught is actually worth it:
1. Au much strictness do programmers pay to s/w lifecycle
2. Au come maintenance cost of a s/w is as much as building cost
3. Do programmers actually use uml? and what stage is it used and
4. Just out of curiosity au do d pros charge.

Sorry got to go offline for sometime, I've still got a lil question.
I have a button called CHOOSE PIC. I want it to be able to allow me select a picture from d syst i.e show me all d systems documents and then select a picture and then Store it in an image box PICBOX. I'll like it to work like that of windows account manager for example where you can select a picture for your account. I hope this can be done. Your quick response would be appreciated, Its d last bit of my project. Thanks.
