BusinessThe US Government Reply To Rejecting USD Notes Issued Prior To 2021 [PICTURE] by FatherFurious(op): 4:08pm On Nov 14, 2022
Earlier this month, news circulated about the US redesigning the dollars. But the major point of emphasis was that dollar notes issued prior to 2021.

It sounded silly to me since the USD is the World's currency reserve but the news continued to circulate.

I believe the best way to get factual information is to go to the primary source. Not Google. Not newspapers. Not blogs. So, I reached out to the US Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is the US government institution responsible for printing the US Dollars.

Here's their reply:

BusinessWhy It Is Tremendously Stupid To Redesign The Naira by FatherFurious(op):
First of all, whatever problems they expect it to solve, it won't.
Terrorists are already asking for payment in foreign currencies.

Secondly, it is the height of fiscal irresponsibility. There are billions of Naira in circulation, at least. Plus, the CBN prints money like it's POS receipt.

The result:
Tons of Naira in circulation.

Now, all or most of these currencies will need to be replaced with new ones.

And guess what that means?

The government will need to spend a LOT of money to replace it. And it won't be any funny money, either. Materials for the new notes will likely have to be imported.

That means spending a LOT of scarce Forex FAST. That'll in turn endanger the Naira that is already on life support.

Another horrible thing about all this:

The announcement is too sudden and the timeline for redesign and adoption is too short. It doesn't instill a lot of confidence in the Naira.

It seems like the acts of a fickle government bereft of ideas.
Christianity EtcWhy The Christian God Makes No Sense by FatherFurious(op): 9:50pm On Nov 01, 2022
Last week, I read about a baby. Apparently, the little infant did something that infuriated its father to the point of damaging one of the baby's arms.

The arm was amputated.
Then the baby died.

Small mercies.

The world is hard enough for grown men with two arms and two legs. It'd be an unbearable hell for a helpless infant if it had to go through life with such a significant deformity.

Frankly, I'm relieved the baby died.

Another child died today. Thousands of children, including infants, die every day.

In 2020 alone, 5 million under 5 year-olds died accord to UNICEF.

That's not even the worst of it.

What's worse is the number of children that still gets born every day. They're forcefully ripped out of blissful inexistence or whatever.

And forced to live in a wicked world without choice.

That's just one of the countless number of things that's wrong the world.

Yet, there's supposedly a benevolent, all-knowing, all-loving and all-powerful god presiding over the earth. So, why doesn't he intervene?

He wants humans to exercise their free will. Plus, he'll eventually punish evil on the judgement day.

Why must he wait, though?

Doesn't he know who will abuse the free will already?
Does the omniscient god not know how it all ends?
Or is he just amused by the evil and wickedness in the world?

That's like building a mansion and putting your children it. Then, somehow it caught fire.
All you have to do is say "off" to put out the flame.

But you'd rather wait for thousands of years to do that.

Makes no sense to me.

It almost seems like the god is not benevolent, omniscient or omnipotent.

Or

Doesn't even exist.
