When The Police came, you could have been civil and leave. you can address that in a civil court. I bought a car from AAAUTO i drove the car for few weeks and the car died on me in the middle of the road in Deak. I had to tow the car. I towed the car 5 times. They never refund me even after i went the many times. Police was called, they became racist when they came, the first thing they ask me was my resident permit. They asked that because I'm Black. I have my own fair share of its racism and inequity. But I wont let it escalate. If you need a lawyer to determine if you get a chance in a civil court let me know. In my case (In most cases) when buying a used car the so-called warranty just covers the engine nothing more. And its always in the contract you signed.
