aghaibiam:Good to know we are team mates. It's amala and ewedu that I've been eating on a daily basis. Then in recent times ofada ooo. My hubby advised I take it easy with how I eat because I am growing so big at a very fast rate. |
@justwise ; I see you...why are you always on this thread? Are you pregnant or about to give birth in the US ![]() |
fpeter:Oh fpeter, please hold on okay. God is definitely listening and he has plans for you. It is well my dear sister and you all are in my prayers. I remember you once mentioned you'll like to try ivf. Have you made the necessary enquiries for that? |
passionate88:You are a clown oo...you cracked me up ![]() |
fpeter:My dear, please try as much as possible not to let this ttc period weigh you down...whatever your husband said in the heat of an argument should be let go. We all know how we could be flippant when arguing. By God's grace sooner than you can imagine you'll have a cause to smile and rejoice. |
LaDivva:So sorry dear for your loss. May God give you a reason to smile soon. |
@ shithapuns . I'm sorry I can't access my nairaland email address. Can you post your email addy and I'll get back to you? |
realtalk19:Oh thanks dear. Please, when you say 'If you use it correctly' what do you mean? Meanwhile, congrats Mukhcech on the arrival of your boy. May he bring forth more blessings to your home. |
realdentist:It's Gyno-Tiocosid. A brand of Tioconazole |
Hello everyone, I just discovered recently that I am pregnant. A September mum to be by God's grace. After conducting a urinary test, i was diagnosed of having infection. My doctor has just placed me on pessaries to be inserted for 6 days. He says it's safe during pregnancy but I just feel I should ask the house to find out if anyone used pessaries in their 1st trimester. |
favouredestiny:Ahh! Mine was secondary infertility as well. He did flushing for me before I could conceive the first child. So this time around he was quick to suggest the procedure. I guess you should just try him again. |
fpeter:Oh yes! The doctor said so as well. For my first child he did same flushing even when my tubes weren't blocked and by the grace of God I conceived a month afterwards. My child is 7years now. I wish you well my dear. God will take control. |
favouredestiny:@ fpeter and all that may need the hospital details. It's Imperial Medical Centre, 65 Brickfield road, Apapa road, Ebute-Metta West. Lagos. Tel no 08034085364.(A very patient and understanding doctor indeed runs the hospital) The fee for the flushing procedure was 60,000 naira. The cycle day I had it was on the 11th day. He suggested the closer to ovulation the better. I hope this would help. |
fpeter:Oh no! You aren't bothering me at all. There is love in sharing information. The doctor is at Ebute-Metta, Lagos and yes, he called the procedure flushing. I was knocked out during the procedure. Woke up after a while to find out he was through with it. Felt dizzy for some minutes before I got better and left the hospital(same day) Please, feel free to ask whatever question. |
mumygaby5:I don't have an idea if they sell fertilsan m there but I could help you ask. Is that okay? |
Godanswerprayer:Yes, took them alongside. Though I took Ruzu bitters first thing once I woke up from sleep and last thing before I slept. So, different timing from fertilaid. |
mumygaby5:I got them from Medplus,Keffi, off Awolowo road lagos.13,850naira for fertilaid for women. I barely took it for 2weeks.(1st-14th) day. |
fpeter:It was a medical procedure, I didn't take any medication for that. In less than 3 hours I was able to go about my normal activities. |
Enkaylala2:My dear, God is great. I was encouraged to take Ruzu oo when I read your testimony. Had to convince my doctor about trying it. Left to him he only suggested fertilaid. Thanks for sharing your WIDD. Thanks everyone for rejoicing with us. Yours is next by God's grace. |
Oh my goodness! Our God has given me a new year package. I am pregnant. I'm still in shock. We had already decided with our doctor that there was no need for time wasting, that if this cycle doesn't click then for the next we'll schedule for IUI. I just checked after a day of missed period and saw the two red lines. Our Lord indeed answers prayers. What I did differently this month were: Ruzu bitters 1st day of period-10 days Fertilaid for women(thrice daily) Used clearblue ovulation test strips. Once I saw the smiley we bd that day and the next day. Joined in the 9-day novena to the Immaculate conception. I was diagnosed of PCOS in July. I tried metformin and clomid for about 4 month. Changed my doctor because I wasn't comfortable with his extremely relaxed nature about our desire to have more children, My new doctor requested I had my tubes flushed in November, took tamoxifen and we still didn't get a positive. Before he suggested the above medications. We are soooo grateful to God and by God's grace all of us here would have our heart's desire met by God. Amen |
I am kind of worried and I feel like crying. It is like my period is about to come. I just sighted brown blood. I have tested for pregnancy and its negative. I will really want to try Ruzu bitters for the new cycle. Please, mamas in the house who has ever tried it or known anyone who has achieved pregnancy with it. |
justwise:Hmm...but even at that 2 years is pretty far away. All the mamas for this thread go don born their children for there...Na wa o. Trump sef |
justwise:But with all the procedures involved in amending the US constitiution, how easy would Donald Trump have it? I'm just curious to know. |
Stephaniecoa:Oh really, wow...how about the free fluid one sees around the uterus where the egg was. Do you think that is an indication of ovulation? |
orney:Yes, a pelvic scan |
Stephaniecoa:I have just done another ultrasound again on day 15 to ascertain if i ovulated and it states that i ovulated on both ovaries(the endometrial plate demonstrates the classical three lines suggesting that ovulation has occurred). I pray all goes well. this 2ww is killing. Na wa o. I've just suggested to my doctor as you adviced and he has asked me to do the day 21 progesterone test. Thanks a lot. |
My meds this month would be clomid 100mg cd2-6, then hcg trigger shot on cd12 then start progesterone on at 3dpo (3days post ovulation). I would be using the progesterone just as a precautionary measure since clomid thins the uterine linning and with pcos...my body does not produce enough progesterone on its own!!![/quote]For this cycle I was also on clomid 100mg cd 3-7, then i had my tubes flushed on day 8, then a trigger shot on day 11. I spotted faintly on day 12 and my doctor said that could have been ovulation spotting. i guess i may have to suggest to my doctor to give progesterone... cause i was once diagnozed of pcos. What do you think? Has any mama in the house experienced ovulation spotting? This was my first time of experiencing it and i am kind of disturbed. |
Aww...thanks Kittana for the indepth explanation. I am glad you responded to my question. God bless you and your little one. |

Hello Dr, I was placed on metformin and clomiphene to treat PCOS yet I still had my period the next cycle. What other treatment type would you recommend? Thanks |
