It can only be God! Indeed his blessings are sufficient. We welcomed our baby girl on the 17th of August through CS. Ported from September.

Never had a CS before. Had to undergo one this time owing to placenta previa issues. Days before the procedure i was already so tensed. Didn't know what to expect...On the day the procedure was to take place and when the anaesthesiologist walked in i kept asking him soo many questions at the same time. The man was so patient with me and kept reassuring me that all will be well.

My doctor walked in after I was prepared by the nurses. He asked that we should pray together and afterwards he called on the nurses to wheel me to the theatre. Surprisingly, in less than 20 mins i heard the cry of my baby. I couldn't hold back the joy i had... The pregnancy was an eventful one with frequent visits to the hospital.

Cannot stop thanking God for a supportive hubby who kept encouraging me even while on bed rest, for a calm and prayerful doctor that ensured he tried his best medically. For extended family and inlaws that showed me so much love. My online sisters that kept me informed and entertained. Indeed it ended in praise of a mighty God...Otito diri Jesu.

I ignored her and continued pushing, I could feel the head coming down and removed my hands from my ankles to my bum na so the nurse hit me, comon remove hand from there. I turned and lifted a hand to her to say no vex u here and she moved back sharply and said ,don't touch me with your dirty hands, I would have loved ti say that I gave her a befitting reply but I didn't. I turned and asked her what did you say and she repeated it and said "is that not the hand you were using to touch your bum, please don't touch me with it"

I am the non confrontational type, hate quarrels and would rather enter a hole than confronting someone, I felt those words into the depths of my soul. I am crying again as I type this and even the other nurse felt bad. I was just following her around with my eyes all around the room. this first nurse now gave me a tear and the head popped out and the body followed immediately.

I went to general hospital cos I had my last baby there and they were wonderful but this birth has shown me that an organization is good depends not on the building or structure in place but on the personnel running the place.

at the end, I went home with my Angel baby girl and she is the greatest gift of all. Please thank God with me mothers.

This birth story got me so upset. I praise God baby is fine. I must really commend your gentility and patience...that's indeed a gift from God

Update cappo...Gender XX. I'm kind of caught between being really excited or just awaiting what it all entails. Never had a girl child and so it seems very different and my mind is telling me it may be more challenging.
Most times I also ponder on 'how do I ensure her hair is made, ensuring she has female lesson teacher, how will she use the restroom when we are out in church, or other gatherings' ...the how's just keep coming. God take control.

Hi Priscaver, will you want to try a different method of copulation. I remember a doctor once adviced a good friend when she kept trying for months and it didnt click. (Husband's analysis was ok and hers was also okay). She tried doggy style and that was it. I really couldn't understand why all along she said they've been on side by side et all styles it never clicked.

My dear, my ear is much better. I still can't understand what my doctor meant when he said it's possible the cause of the ear blockage was as a result of my pregnant state (that my complain isn't the first). According to him if it were water it wouldn't have lingered for such a long while. He later gave me gentalab eardrops that cleared it. Thanks alot for your help and show of concern. Hellllll to the no. Cerumol is for dissolving ear wax nah and if you don't get the dissolved ear wax out ASAP, it hardens back x2 and causes issues. Warm olive oil was what was prescribed for me last year at Lasuth but that's still for ear wax. I'd say u should use a few drops of warm water then lie down and let them all flow out.

But presently when I use cotton bud I see yellowish stuff. How did you apply the olive oil? Was it in drops or you used a cotton bud to clean the inner ear.

I went into pre- term labour @23weeks yesterday and lost lo. She looked so Adorable and helpless at sight, I just can't explain why she couldn't stay put for us till atleast 38weeks.
I still want to thank God for the experience.

That wasnt old wives tale for me cuz I experienced it o. 3days of labour in severe pains that I was almost opting for cs but one of the nurses asked if I ate bushmeat, I gree o cuz dat was my craving then. My mum rushed and got bushmeat, ate d whole meat in my presence and I was asked to put the bone in my mouth and keep swallowing, an hour later, my waters broke and in less than 30mins my prince charming was born.
