First interview in lagos
VO: good morning
Me: good morning ma’am
Vo: so tell me about your plans
Me: I’m going for my bachelors degree to study music technology in California university of Pennsylvania
Vo: whats music technology all about
Me: Music technology is study of everything that has to do with music production, in terms of knowing how to use devices e.g computer to record and edit music
Vo: oh okay so who will be sponsoring your fees
Me: my dad is my sponsor, he’s been responsible for my academics from birth. He’s excited and ready to sponsor me
Vo: What does he do for a living
Me: he's the head pastor of a church here in Nigeria
Vo: whats hes annual income
Me: I have he’s bank statement here showing his financial strength
Vo: let me have it, looks at it and gives me back
Vo: vo nods her head and starts typing
After a while she look and me surprisingly and asked why haven’t I travelled out of Nigeria before
Me: told her I haven’t gotten any reason in the past to do so
Vo: interrupts and says I’m sorry you’re not qualified for an f1 visa (denial under section 214(b) )


Second interview in lagos
Vo: good morning
Me: good morning sir
Vo tell me about your educational plans
Me: i plan going for bachelor degree to study music technology at California university of Pennsylvania
Vo: you father will be taking care of the costs
Me: yes
Vo: what does he do for a living
Me: he’s the head pastor of a church, he’s into medium scale farming and a real estate developer/consultant
Vo: I’m sorry you aren’t qualified for this visa but can reapply again
(Denial under section 214(b) )

Please how can i fix this i plan reapply again but this time Abuja cause my school resumes fall 2021

Hello guys please i plan reapplying for my 3rd f1 visa interview in abuja, i had the last 2 about two months ago in lagos consulate.

My first interview i was asked.
1. To talk about my plans - i told VO i where i was going and what i was going to study.
2. Vo asked what my course was all about - i told her everything about it
3. Vo asked about my sponsor and what he does for a living? - i told her my dad and he’s the head pastor of a church, after she requested for his monthly income i showed her he’s bank statement
Vo kept typing, looked at me in surprise and asked why haven’t I travelled out of the country be4, i tried explaining but in btw she just denied me!!!

Second visa interview
1. Vo asked what my educational plans where - i told him where i was going and what i was studying
2. He asked who will be sponsoring me and what he does for a living - i told him my dad’s a pastor and is into medium scale farming and real estate!
3. After I finished talking he denied me visa.


Please can someone put me tru on how to go about my 3 appointment? I need to know what I’m getting wrong!!! ����

Is this your first time traveling out of the country?
I was interviewed today and immediately the VO knew I had no travel history she rejected immediately.
So I really want to know, do I have a chance of getting accepted with having a travel history?.
And how long can I wait before reapplying

Please I’d it possible tot reapply for an F1 visa immediately after rejection? If no how long can I wait before reapplication

Hello please I need help completing DS-160 form, under primary occupation section of the form.
I selected Student as my occupation and then filled my school name and address thereafter, but when I got got to the START DATE I entered the date on my I-20 but it tells me error!
It say I’m not suppose to enter same date as today or a date lower than today’s date, but I enter August 23rd not April or May!!

Please can someone guide me through this challenge, I don’t know what to do again!

Please I’m finding it difficult to complete my DS-160 form under the primary occupation section!
I selected student - entered the name and address of my school - but there’s a problem whenever I’m filling the start date, I’m to start School August 23rd 2021 but each time I put that it tells me error!
It’s says I my start start should be same thing with today’s date or even lower than today’s date!!!! But I entered August not April or even May �‍♀️. I don’t know what’s wrong

Please can someone work me through this part

Is it possible for me to fill out my DS-160 before paying my Sevis fee?
And also who knows if new appointment dates are out for Us f1 Visa?
