After killing the Friday Nite show @ Freedom Park Lagos with an outstanding performance which i performed my hit single "OLOTU " a song i dropped on the 27th of November 2018. The whole DMW crew was present on back stage in the show except Davido. immediately i finish performing n came back to back stage everyone started giving kudos n then Dremo n Ichaba called me n asked me the meaning of "OLOTU " n i told them it means "a champion" in Bayelsa mainly in Ijaw Language. We still charted for a little while before i n my manager left the show venue to club Cuban a @ Victoria Island.
This whole scenario is up to 2months coz the show was held March 1st n to my greatest surprise the DMW due Ichaba & Dremo just dropped a new song titled "OLOTU' which was released few days back. Its really hard to understand why they chose to oppress me.
I think taking them to court is the only option now.

Nine Nigerians have been arrested in the United States for defrauding individuals and businesses of more than $3.5 million.
Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States attorney for the southern district of New York, and James C. Spero, special agent in charge of the Tampa, Florida, field office of U.S. immigration and customs enforcement’s Homeland security investigations (“HSI”), disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
The suspects are Oluwaseun Adelekan, Olalekan Daramola, Solomon Aburekhanlen, Gbenga Oyeneyin, Abiola Olajumoke, Temitope Omotayo, Bryan Eadie, Albert Lucas and Ademola Adebogun.
The US officials said the suspects committed the fraud through business email compromises, a Russian oil scam, and a romance scam.

“As alleged, these defendants deployed three different email schemes to defraud their victims. The common denominator in all three schemes was the defendants’ alleged fleecing of their victims through fictitious online identities,” said Berman.
“The schemes allegedly earned the defendants $3.5 million – and also arrests on federal felony charges.” “

The defendants are accused of participating in a scheme to defraud businesses and individuals through several categories of false and misleading representations.

“Sending victims email messages that appeared to be, but were not, from legitimate business counterparties that included instructions to the victims to wire payment to those seemingly legitimate business counterparties into bank accounts that were actually under the control of, and/or maintained by, Adelekan, Daramola, Aburekhanlen, Oyeneyin, Olajumoke, Omotayo, Eadie, Lucas, and Adebogun (the “Business Email Compromise Scam”),” read the statement.

Special Adviser to Governor Ben Ayade on Biodiversity, Edet Okon Asim and two others, are to be prosecuted for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl in Calabar, Cross River State.
While Edet Asim and Obot Okon Udofia were accused of sexually molesting the girl and getting her pregnant, the mother of the victim, Stella Noah, shall be prosecuted for reckless and negligent act, which endangered the life of the victim.
On December 18, 2018, detectives from the Airport Division of the Nigeria Police Force, Calabar arrested Asim, former chairman of Calabar Municipality and Udofia, following a petition by a non-governmental organisation, Basic Rights Council Initiative. They were accused of sexually abusing a minor for three years running.
Also, Asim’s mistress, Noah, was arrested for allegedly consenting to the relationship between Asim and her daughter. Having concluded investigations, the police submitted their findings to the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Joe Abang, who subsequently sought the advice of the DPP.

The suspect who gave himself as Kenneth Ofoke from Ohrza village in Izzza local government area of Ebonyi State was among other suspected criminals paraded by the commissioner of police in Edo State, CP Dan Malam Mohammed in Benin City on Wednesday.
“The first was seven weeks male twins I sold for N500,000.00. The second was three years old baby boy named Wisdom, I collected N30, 000.00.
“A two-year-old baby girl was given out for N200,000.00 and I was waiting to receive some money from ‘madam’ when police arrested me on March 26, 2019.” he stated.

Bus Runs Into Christians Marching Towards Galilee On Easter Monday In Numan Adamawa State, Injures 17

A commercial bus yesterday ran into a procession of Christian worshippers injuring at least 17 persons taking part in Easter Monday Holy ritual of a church in the Numan LGA of Adamawa State.
Many of the victims, who sustained bone fractures were reportedly taken to different hospitals in Numan, the council’s headquarters.
Eyewitnesses said the accident happened around 10 am, adding that the bus had been seized and the driver arrested.
One of the eyewitnesses, Stanley Jaule, said the affected members of the Christian community were marching towards a mountain which they called Galilee when the bus ran into them from behind.

Men of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested one Seun Adewole, 26, while attempting to snatch motorcycle from its owner.
His arrest followed a distress call from Adiyan community in Agbado area of the state that two armed men were about to snatch a motorcycle from its owner.
On receiving the information, the DPO, Agbado Division, CSP Omonijo Olatunji detailed his patrol team to the scene where one of the robbers was arrested while his accomplice escaped through a nearby bush.
Recovered from the arrested hoodlum are one locally made pistol, one dagger and assorted charms.
He gave the name of his fleeing colleague as Ojo Iberu. He equally confessed that they were members of the Aye cult group and that they go into robbery whenever they ran out of cash.

How Truck Driver Was Crushed To Death By Train After Offloading Fish In Aba (Photos)
A truck driver was crushed to death in Aba, Abia state by a cargo train late on Friday.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the accident occurred at about 10 pm at the railway crossing behind Eziukwu Market off Cemetery Road by Ogbonna Road in the commercial city.

A source, who pleaded anonymity, told NAN that the truck got stuck on the rail track and that the train coming from Port Harcourt rammed into the truck.

The source said that the driver was outside the truck trying to remove his vehicle but jumped into the truck in a bid to remove it from the track.

He, however, added that the driver was unable to remove the vehicle before the train rammed on his truck, killing him instantly.

The source said that the driver made effort to escape the coming train but was not fast enough with the train hitting his vehicle and cutting off his legs.

There was confusion in Atali community under Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State over the alleged killing of a 20-year-old man, Nyebuchi Ihunwo, by a policeman.
Ihunwo was reportedly stabbed to death by one Inspector Chinedu attached to Elimgbu Police Station close to Atali.
The victim, it was learnt, was stabbed in the stomach while trying to purchase roasted plantain and fish by the roadside at about 8:20pm on Thursday.
Our correspondent gathered that Ihunwo’s murder had sparked confusion and a protest by the youths of the area, who moved immediate to the police station after the incident.
Speaking on the tragedy, the Eze Risiohia of Atali, Theophilus Ejekwu, described Ihunwo, who was his cousin, as a peaceful man, adding that the victim was murdered by the police.
The monarch explained that the victim had insisted that he should tell him the offence he committed to warrant his being arrested, adding that it was during the argument that one of the policemen stabbed him with a knife.

A corps member has died after he fell off a commercial bus in Lagos.
Akhigbe Nuel Odiase, a recent law graduate, was in a bus plying the LASU-Isheri road when he fell from the moving vehicle at about 9:45pm on the night of April 15, 2019.
He sustained a severe head injury from the accident and was rushed to the nearby Alimosho General Hospital, Igando, where he was given first aid treatment. He was then transferred to LASUTH where he died later that night from his wounds.

Police Woman ‘Tears Up Her Own Uniform’ To Get Arrested Nollywood Film-Maker Sent To Jail
Fellow Nigerians, I am a Nigerian filmmaker. I have just been harassed by some police officers. They broke my wind screen and Fifty thousand naira missing in my car. The police woman started tearing her uniform by herself before we got to the station. Now they are turning the story around.”

Lanre Adediwura, Nigerian Nollywood movie producer and director, found himself behind bars after having an altercation with the Police.

In a four-part video he shared on his Instagram handle on Friday, Adediwura narrated how he was arrested while he was offering to give his friend and his colleague a lift.

In the first video posted by Adediwura, some police officers could be seen and one of them in his cars.

He also showed his torn shirt, the pregnant woman whose eyes was cut from an attack by one of the officers and the windscreen of his car that was damaged by the Police.

Witnesses could be heard accusing the officers of removing their name tags when Adediwura started recording with one of the officers identified as Omolara.

Narrating how the incident happened in the second video, the movie producer said: “I woke up this morning and left my home. I got to a particular bus stop and saw this friend of mine who happened to be an old friend from university. I pulled over and asked him where he was going, he said Ikeja and I told him I am going to Iyana-Ipaja. He also said I should pick his pregnant colleague.

A 17-year-old boy identified as Aliyu and his 15-year-old fiancée, Aisha, have released their prewedding pictures ahead of their wedding, next week, in Sokoto.

According to inside reports, Aliyu is following his family tradition of marrying early.

It’s gathered that male children of his family marry at the age of 17, while the female ones marry at 15.

A young lady is said to be currently battling for her life after being stabbed multiple times by her boyfriend. The Third Year student of Pwani University in Kenya, Naomi Chepkemboi was involved in an altercation with the said boyfriend before she was stabbed in the chest.

Reports indicate that the attacker identified as Henry Kipkoech is a student at Kenyatta University.

It was gathered that the suspect arrived at Naomi’s house in the morning carrying a bag that was found to contain three knives.

A man described as a ‘mercenary’ has been nabbed in Sokoto state while writing JAMB for many candidates.

According to a Premium Times reports, a man described as a professional examination mercenary, who allegedly specialises in writing JAMB tests for multiple candidates, has been arrested in Sokoto State.

Officials of the Joint Examination Matriculation Board (JAMB) told Premium Times that Umar Sani was arrested at about 8: 00am Saturday as he made to access a centre at the Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic to sit the examination for another of his clients.
