AUC is at Banyo ,right? Banyo to Durack is a good 1 hr drive depending on traffic or 40 mins if you take the Airport link toll, so you basically crossing from North side to south side.
If you are finding it hard to get accomodation on Realestate.com (that site sucks anyway, lol), you could look into AirBnB or booking a hotel to get an address to enable you continue with your application. You don't necessarily have to make payments now, you only need the booking I think.
