1. They have the worst transportation system. The metro system is outdated, noisy, dirty and expensive. The intercity roads and highways are as miserable as they come. And as far as I know, nothing has changed.

2. What is there to see? no attractions whatsoever! Need I say that even on "normal" days the hotels are very expensive but services are terrible? Where is the fun for the "ordinary" football lover huh?

3. Just what will happen after the WC to those 45000- 60000 seater stadiums that will be built ? This is a country where stadiums are never filled and in some cases empty irrespective of who is playing? The football atmosphere is just and will never be there and there is nothing fifa can do about it. The people do not care. What you will have is a bunch of twats shouting Ro-ssi-ya! all through!

4. And oh well. How will the people of Russia handle the large contingents from Africa and Asia and all other non-slavic faces?
