Nice one lalaboi. . .

I wanna see us use mostly young players even if it means losing. . . its time to see whether we have good enough youngsters to weather FIFA's 18-month transfer embargo.
Bite me, but I do not subscribe to that cool.

hehehe. Judo ko, greek wrestling ni.  grin
You guys cannot take simple yabbis. Each and everytime a team in the "top 4" chop beating, it is normal that they take some serious bashing from NL footie members and indeed the world.
You lost to Burnley, scrapped a draw with Sunderland, a narrow win against Citeh (thanks to the ref- grin ). Yeah it's footie.
Every dog has it day.

We all know it hurts, take it like a man and move on. Pronto.

We did what we had to do and we have results to show for it.

Emperoh:
Just like Martinez owned you guys? O'neil with a below par team trashed and contained you guys very well
Opened holes i never knew existed in Ancelotti's team!!!
Jeez Villa offered little or nothing in attacking. . . . . . .they just got two set pieces and dang!!! that was it!!
SO quit those crocodile larmes and lamentations. . . . . . .its better to lose to Rafa than to a below par Wigan team or Villa!!!
Chai!!!!
What are you talking?  A below par team (Villa) beat Liverpool and in turn Liverpool beat you. What does that tell you?  undecided That's an irony, dont you think?
Na wa o. Who is lamenting? I accepted that the defeat at DW stadium will go down as our worst performance ever and not just for the season. Against Villa, yep, we played better and the main difference on that day was BF. The match could have ended in 5-2 in our favor. But this is football. . .any team can win.
Quit the lame excuses and comparisons. You got owned by Rafa and you played rubbish. Shikena.

We are all still revolving round the same issue. Nigeria was never meant to be. Fingers will always be pointed 'cos no one is ready to accept the blame and move forward.

As for SLS, whatever might be his agenda, we can only wait and see.

RM? What the heck is going on? shocked

A shocking defeat but I'm banking on you guys to get back to winning ways.

With the quality of players you have and the amount of investment, a second place finish is not befitting at all.

Y'all need to get back on track NOW!!!
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Honduras: 1 - 0 (U-17 World Cup) by FBS: 7:55am On Oct 28, 2009
Some posts on this thread are very pathetic. Will we ever learn to support our team?
Simply because the Super Eagles are messing up BIG TIME is no freaking reason to blame the younger ones.
The boys played very well yesterday and most importantly they won. The boys from Honduras are no push overs. They nearly beat Argentina. Their main player (Lozano) is top class and capable of dribbling past any defense.

Now, the boys kept a clean sheet and you could see that they played under enormous pressure to deliver. They showed will, passion, strength and got the goal. Honestly, I don't know what else you people want.

When was the last time you saw any Nigerian team play like yesterday? Yes sometimes, they dribble unnecessarily but you all forget that they are young (yes they are. It's your problem if you don't agree) and want to entertain. You all forget that entertainment is part of the game or is it because ya'll been deprived of victories in recent times that you want it BY ALL MEANS?

If you have nothing positive to say then keep the negativity to yourselves.

Argentina is next and they have two danger men. Villalva and Araujo. Those boys can dribble with their eyes closed. The Manshaft defense can attestify to this. We could use high balls against them- height wise.

Our boys and most especially Okoro (number 8 ), should be more aggresive and more clinical in front of goal.

Argentina 1 - 0 Honduras. How about that? In fact they could have won that game if not for the stingy striker from Honduras.

It's either you've just started watching football yesterday or you don't have the patience.

Brazil and Mexico are playing 0-0 as well. That's why it's called a MATCH!

The winner emerges after 90+ mins.
