Cristalz:
Look at the impressive way these Americans turned the entire 11 Brazilian men on the pitch around during that counter! shocked I mean, wow!

Said it, Brazilian defense is horrible. They can recover from this if they set their mind to it though.  .  .got only 45 minutes to get it done. Dunga needs to fix that defense first, then reshuffle the attack. This one's just not working. Fabiano and Kaka are so lost, even Robinho. The Americans approaching every tackle like it's a hot rugby game ain't helping the Brazilians either, but that shouldn't stop them. In fact they should take advantage of that and get set-pieces.

The US are on a roll yet again. Good job though, I'm very impressed. Their defense is tight too.
that counter was fantastic. doesn't get better than that. fast and a precise finish.GOOD JOB.

From The Unused Substitute on 606: "I'm stunned. Genuinely stunned. That second goal, ironically, had a bit of Brazilian magic about it."

To be fair though, BRAZIL has been piss poor. . . . . .
no dude, Shitty poor. grin

Looking at the second goal on the counter, there was no single defender. Where the heck was Lucio. He should have been the last man standing.
Ramirez ain't no defender.

HEy, where is Crizzle? She is supporting the Samba boys.

Robinho crashes in a left-foot shot from an angle 15 yards out that Tim Howard casually flicks over the US crossbar. Brazil are dominating possession, but clear-cut chances still at a premium.

Hello. . . . . .  grin cheesy
He his playing for America here. . . I think he has an improved contract on the table at Everton FC though!
yeah I know but he has a case to demand for a raise if they want him to perform like this.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: FIFA Confederations Cup: South Africa '09 Official Thread by FBS: 8:08pm On Jun 28, 2009
Good save by Howard. Everton should double his salary. grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: FIFA Confederations Cup: South Africa '09 Official Thread by FBS: 8:04pm On Jun 28, 2009
That is an absolutely brilliant breakaway goal - and USA have incredibly doubled their lead. Brazil are attacking relentlessly and they give the ball away - Landon Donovan takes possession, finds Charlie Davies and races forward, collects Davies' return pass, takes a brilliant touch to create room on the edge of the Brazil box and fire left-footed into the far corner past Julio Cesar. Phenomenal

Call them back? Nah. They shouldn't let them in! Game ain't over till the final whistle and they all lost hope and left their team.

Hm.  .  .I actually want SA to win 'cos they've been pretty hot in this tourney. Their strikers' screw-ups still piss me off, but then.  .  .can't deny the rest of team their due 'cos of a few men, huh? grin Santana deserves something too. Cool gaffer.
