Trump's lawyers first move mostly likely will be to request for the case to be dismissed. That's what any lawyer would do in a criminal case like this one.
But given the charges are still sealed it kinda dicey at the moment.

Every Steve, Kelly, Bill and Shaniqua know this smells like a political witch hunt. If Trump is found guilty, that is the end, if he isn't then its likely another term in the White house.

What are the chances that the case will be tossed out as that is the only thing Trump could be counting on because as far as we know, the charges are still sealed.
If that doesn't happen, then it is likely going to be a long story.
But even then Ron D is no Trump. He will need to campaign hard to take over Trump's supporters.

I don't think the next election is going to be pretty at all.

The major problem of DeSantis was how to win the Republican nomination against Trump, how can he attack Trump without alienating many Republican voters. Now the Democrats have helped him to eliminate the Trump problem. DeSantis will now campaign hard saying Trump was victimized to get those voters

States like Anambra where so May businessmen who run businesses in which they make millions as profit steadily , the governor has no business crying on social media about having low collections From taxes.

The government needs to mandate for any business owner to present their valid tax clearance certificate for them to obtain a trade/business permit before they can be allowed to continue doing business in a new financial year .The trade/business permit should be issued to business who have provided their tax clearance certificates having paid taxes due to them as payers in the informal sector . A tax force can even be set up to create job opportunities as well as enforce this . (All if this I’m suggesting without knowing what exactly obtains in Anambra state as we speak ) .

If the government is expecting to tax remittances in billions from the formal sector like what obtains in Lagos , then the governor and the state government just dey play . Nigerians generally won’t pay tax of their own volition a except u mandate it for them and u enforce the laws backing the tax collection . Nigerians have been protesting against taxation since 1920’s , that should tell us something .
