Chelsea won 2-1.
25 min' goal by John Terry
Wigan equalised in the 82 min.

Then. . .
Last minute goal by General Frank Lampard.

Now Chelsea occupies second spot.

@FBS.

Did Manciene start at right back? . . . I only watched the last 10mins. . .
Yes. He played well but bagged a yellow card (after Nzogbia did a "toros"  grin through his legs).
GH took him off, I think with some 15 mins remaining in the second half.

Ironically, after GH took him off, chelsea's right flank was opened up and that was where wigan's goal came from.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by FBS: 6:10pm On Feb 28, 2009
MOTM- John Terry. a brilliant goal, some dribbling flicks (would you believe that grin) and a fantastic all round performance.

General Lamps. . .he was equally fantastic.
Mancienne. A decent debut.
Ballack- worked his socks/boots off. He gave his ALL.
DD & Nic- They can actually play together.

The whole team was running at 450kph. The team spirit is back again.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by FBS: 6:01pm On Feb 28, 2009

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by FBS: 5:56pm On Feb 28, 2009
oh my . . .oh dear me.
the never say-die-attitude is definitely back.
Chelsea right on top now.

L'pool lost to M'boro so Chelsea is now number 2.

GH made a blunder there.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by FBS: 5:50pm On Feb 28, 2009

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by FBS: 5:48pm On Feb 28, 2009

we need to win this by all means.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by FBS: 5:44pm On Feb 28, 2009
I think that was a poor sub by GH. wigan scored from that right back position.
kapo rubs nic and bang goal.

he should have waited another coupla of minutes before making that sub.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by FBS: 5:43pm On Feb 28, 2009

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by FBS: 5:30pm On Feb 28, 2009

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here by FBS: 5:28pm On Feb 28, 2009

a cross into the box from lamps, cleared into the path of Terry, who took a fantastic volley.
He is by the way the leading goal scoring defender in the history of Chelsea.
