Business / Re: Crude Oil Damages To The niger Delta Soil by Fchristo(m): 2:39pm On Aug 08, 2017
Fchristo:
The crude oil is a thick substance that produces lubricants when matured and it is so poisonous to societal living which means in a living environment. When oil is formed, it causes a lot of damages to the soil especially where people are living. Oil is also that dark substance consisting mainly of hydro-carbons, a viscous liquid derived from petroleum especially for use as fuel, lubricant,a class of of chemical compounds that maybe otherwise unrelated structure. With the above, it is is clear to everybody the degree of damage oil causes Wherever it is discovered, matured or found is much. Personal reach has shown that, in the Niger Delta region, especially in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta. It is discovered that in every ten kilometers, there is is at least one kilometer with crude content hence making the soil un-fertiled thereby killing and making life difficult for dwellers in the areas. Government should take proactive steps in resolving the problems of such areas by put the basic amenities in place and making them feel belonging.
Why should this happen yet the people cannot see to even eat

But in terms of restructuring, it would have been better if Nigeria was a confederation

Politics / Re: Where Is Your President? CNN Asks Nigerians by Fchristo(m): 7:14am On Jul 31, 2017
sarrki:

American news network, CNN, has mocked Nigeria, asking where is President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Nigerian president has not been in the country for over two months and the news television in a query on its website on Sunday asked which “head of state from which country has not set foot in his homeland in over two months?”

The mockery came in the latest edition of CNN’s “The Global Public Square (GPS)” show anchored by Fareed Zakaria. In an apparent mockery of Nigeria and her President Muhammadu Buhari, CNN, on its programme displayed at 4:59pm local time on Sunday, asked,“The head of state from which country has not set foot in his homeland in over two months?”

It went ahead to tick an option with the name Nigeria as the correct answer. The options were given as Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Nigeria and Syria. A screenshot of the mockery tweeted by Chidi Odinkalu, Former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission asked What do you say Nigerians?

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari has been in London since May 7 on a medical follow-up. Some political delegations including the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo have been visiting President Buhari in London and have told Nigerians that the president is doing just fine and will soon return to continue his presidential duties.

The Nigerian problem isn't a national one to warrant such insult from ranks and files

This is why restructuring is needed. The federal govt is responsible for security in Rivers state. Wike has no power to control the various security agencies in the state. The commissioner of police answers to the federal govt and takes instructions from them. So the federal govt should be held responsible for insecurity in Rivers State.
Noted but Wike has his part to play by informing them
