I found a way to solve touch screen problems or ghost touches.

* Get a lighter
* Open the lighter (remove the ignitor and find a way to open the lighter)
* Put few droplets of the gas on the screen.

Viola!!!

@febbymi, once had the same problem as yours but what I did was to return it back as flashing and reflashing a new rom didn't solve the problem.. Like someone said if you had noticed the problem right out of the box, you should have at least find a way to be compensated.

Good evening house, I'm having quite a challenge with my RN4. The touch is unresponsive and it has serious ghost touches(its randomly pressing itself). Although the phone been stuttering for a while(hangs, sometimes unresponsive for some secs......it came out of box like that) but all in all usable. Now it's totally useless, please gurus in the house I need help. Na the only xiaomi service center for Nigeria way I know be dis.

Can you narrow down the spot on the screen where it is randomly pressing itself? This symptom could be due to damage to the screen. A screen replacement should fix it.

Experienced something similar with my lumia phone years ago. Turned out that the poorly designed phone case I bought was responsible for damaging the screen.

Backup your data ONLY and do a reset afterwards. Dont backup your settings! Do that and lets know the outcome.

Everything seems ok here,did u update to miui 9 or it came installed?
But i would suggest u do a back up of ur data and factory reset ur device first.lets see,if its a software or hardware bug,and kindly buzz me on whatsapp asap.

Please help oh, my Note 4 hangs and becomes unresponsive to touch till I press the power button to put off the screen. I also experience random ghost touches. What could be the problem please.
