So they didnt even send you the text sef and you opened a thread raising false alarm. So if u have spent over 3k on etisalat this year? i'm sure there are people who spend that weekly and didn't get the text. Its not as if they said a condition for getting the text is how much u spend, its a random thing. So blame ursrlf for the 1k u recharged, abi whose fault is it?

I spend an average of 2k monthly on airtime due to my kind of biz but them no send me for the line, but a new line I got just last week and I got the text( 3times sef) so chill, ur turn go reach

did you dial the code and didn't get it? Seems to me like u just recharged 1000 and ur waiting for the data

yeah, I think the op should have done that. Meanwhile I ain't sure subscribers can lose in anyway as there is a safety measure to protect them sort of. The code for the 260mb is different from the code for this new 1gb plan, so if u dont qualify rather than u been credited with 260mb, u get the ineligible response with ur airtime intact

I think this stuff is a scam.i just called their customer care to find out why it doesn't work after trying it and they said it was only valid for those who got text messages and those messages were sent to users of "low data using" fones like the s40 series.So how did my friend using a galaxy grand get d text
Too many people have enriched Etisalat with 1k or more and that's where I smell d rat.if u can't sub,u don't have a choice but to use d airtime. MY OPINION.

scam by definition is something done to intentionally defraud someone else. It is therefore wrong for u to call this a scam. Its public knowledge that for u to qualify, u need to have received 'the text'. Were u sent the text only to be given 260mb? For the guy claiming he received the text yet got only 260, let him show proof with screenshots, and out of the several people that has tried this, how come he's the only one that got the said 260mb, abi him na tuface

its wrong to say wcdma only won't work.its what I use for downloads. My phone does not have the network mode option so I switch according to my need. 3g apn sounds new to me, like Collins said my money is still on network band. Its not fully unlocked is what I think

Looks like a network band issue. Try locking down to all bands on wcdma with star ash 2263 ash.
