The others are Kevin Clinesmith and Igor Danchencko. Clinesmith, a former low-level FBI attorney, who pleaded guilty to doctoring an email that was used to get surveillance on a former Trump campaign adviser. Clinesmith was sentenced to one year of probation. Danchenko, who was a key source for the infamous Steele dossier about alleged Trump-Russia ties, was indicted in November on five counts of making false statements to the FBI. ---Trump Organization's longtime accountants MAZARS USA LLP quit after determining the ex-president's past decade of financial statements cannot be 'relied upon' during NY AG Tish James' probe into whether he inflated prices--- The longtime accounting firm for former President Donald Trump has informed his company that a decade's worth of its financial statements 'should no longer be relied upon' – and asserts it now has a 'conflict of interest' with the company. The letter from the firm cites in part its own investigation to say that while there are not 'as a whole, material discrepancies' in the documents, that it is their 'advice' to no longer 'rely' on them. New York AG Letitia James, who has cited the company's Statements of Financial Condition in her probe of the Trump Organization, included the letter in a filing Monday. The withdrawal marks a stunning departure for the firm that has been the center of years worth of lawsuits regarding Trump's financial information, including a fight that went all the way to the Supreme Court. basilico:Michael Sussmann did all of the following: 1) Represented the DNC, the Clinton campaign, Nuestar/Joffe, and Twitter. 2) He was called in by the dnc in late April of 2016, contracted Crowdstrike, and played middleman between CS, DNC, and FBI, including editing crowdstrike reports. 3) Started working with Joffe and other researchers to try and establish a link between Trump and Russia via dns data. 4) Met with Christopher Steele and gave him Alfa bank allegations. 5) Met and corresponded with Fusion GPS to promote Alfa allegations. 6) Met with FBI general counsel to push white papers he personally edited claiming a Trump/Russia connection to get an FBI investigation. 7) Went to FBI in October of 2016 with claims that Russia might be bugging the dnc offices, bringing in a report from a contractor.  Approached the CIA with same bogus Alfa bank data, only this time adding cherry picked dns data from the EOP.9) Served as point of contact with the FBI San Francisco office for the DNC regarding questions they had about Guccifer 2.0. 10) Handled and shipped Seth Rich's work laptop when the San Francisco FBI field office requested it. 11) Met with the DOJ Inspector General peddling likely more statements. 2 Likes
