BREAKING: Donald Trump is dealt a humiliating blow in court as he's sworn in as a witness to answer for violating his gag order — immediately falls flat on his face — and gets slapped with a $10,000 fine.

This is just too good.

Trump was sworn in as a witness to respond to the obviously true allegations that he violated the gag order that prevents him from talking about court staff in his civil fraud case.

The disgraced former president took to the stand, straightened his wrinkled jacket, and sat down. He took the oath and then faced Judge Arthur Engoron.

The judge asked Trump if he had indeed said that he is a "very partisan judge with a person who is very partisan sitting alongside him, perhaps even more partisan than he is."

"Yes," said Trump with a nod.

"To whom were you referring?" Engoron asked.

“You and Cohen,” Trump replied.

"Are you sure that you didn’t mean the person on the other side, my principal law clerk?" Engoron asked.

"Yes I’m sure," Trump said.

Trump left the stand after testifying for a brief three minutes. The judge, unconvinced, then slapped him with a $10,000 fine.

Given Trump's mounting legal fees, this is not the kind of thing he can afford right now.

What's there to spin. I've said all along the idea is to prevent Trump from running. Not Trump but anyone else that DNC and RNC do not approve .
The speaker of the house. The Republicans are flatly refusing a Trump supporting Speaker, they will stall until they get a RINO in place.

As for Trump, I now think they will move to jail him. Have close aides strung up in legal jeopardy until they plead guilty. Voila It's now confirmed that felonies were committed. Next step is jailing Trump.
And by the way, don't ever think that Kennedy Jr will ever win the election. He is not an acceptable candidate, he is now an independent after seeing the roadblocks in place via the Democrat party.
They will never let any other outsider become the president.
That to me is the sad state of a system I thought works but whose decline will be inevitable.

Notable presidents who have amassed wealth by virtue of being POTUS do not include Obama. He left WH more broke..

House Republicans voted (112–86) via secret ballot Friday afternoon to remove Jim Jordan as their speaker nominee.

SOME BACK STORY ....

JORDAN asked the House Republican leadership this morning if the chamber could vote FIRST on David Joyce's resolution to elect PATRICK MCHENRY as speaker pro tem. This would empower MCHENRY to move legislation, get chamber opened.

Leadership rebuffed Jordan. Several Jordan allies were pushing for this as well.
