Alway a pleasure reading your postings. Please would you recommend this car for use in Nigeria. I mean like a knock about. Eg school run, market and the likes. Is it reliable, are the parts available and most importantly is the automatic transmission proven to be problem free( my wife wouldn't touch a manual car if her life depended on it)

If yes above, what price range would I be looking at bearing in mind I will be shopping from say Germany or Belgium.

Finally, we were thinking of a 2005 Toyota sienna but I worry about fuel, size which is really large for a knock about and then cost.

Really need your advice please

Hi, good to hear from so promptly. With regards to trim, I would really love a 2005 FRONT WHEEL XLE. Please note capped letters as the ALL wheel drive is definitely not for me due to it's many documented problem as well as a class action suit in court.

However, this is where I need your candid view. I am aware that most cars that have a frontal collision will likely suffer and sustain a structural damage.

Considering that this car is primarily to convey my family from place to place, do you think a savings of N200,000 is worth the risk? I really want your view please.

Do you believe the repairs done are enough to make them safe?

I thought electioneering and the campaign period had ended. Passed this airport last week and except planes will land on the completed Tarmac while a makeshift structure is used as terminal building because truly, what is on ground is not ready for commercial usage.

However maintenance is a major issue not to mention zero availability of aviation fuel. In a fight with Boko Haram, count the NAF out.
