President Buhari is Clueless and Incompetent - Gov. Fayose Speaks on 2016 Budget Crisis

Outspoken Ekiti State Governor has again attacked President Muhammadu Buhari, over the 2016 budget crisis, saying the president is 'clueless and incompetent'.

Gov. Ayo Fayose

In a statement on Tuesday by Lere Olayinka, Ekiti state governor's Special Assistant on Pubic Communications and New Media, Governor Ayodele Fayose, has again attacked President Muhammadu Buhari, over the 2016 budget crisis, saying the president is 'clueless and incompetent.'

The governor said the raging controversy between the Presidency and the National Assembly over the 2016 Budget shows the cluelessness and incompetence of the president. "Nigerians should expect more blunders like this until they send Buhari back to Daura in 2019," Fayose said.

He insisted that the president and the All Progressives Congress (APC), only wanted power desperately without the wherewithal to govern, adding, "I warned Nigerians of the consequences of electing an octogenarian as president and with the international embarrassment that this budget crisis has become, I have been vindicated."

"It is obvious that there is total disconnection between the president and his cabinet members as many of the ministers don’t even have access to him probably because the president spend most of his time resting as a result of his old age.

"The reality is that the President is challenged by age, exposure and ability. He did not read the budget proposal that he presented to the National Assembly and this should be a lesson for those who clamoured for a Buhari’s presidency that no man can give what he does not have.

"The question is; can a minister present supplementary budget to the National Assembly and can the National Assembly act on budget proposal submitted by a minister?

"It is shameful that after blaming former President Goodluck Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for close to one year, the presidency is now blaming the National Assembly for its inability to prepare a common budget."

The governor commended the National Assembly for exposing the 'lies and hypocrisy' of the presidency, saying it was shameful that President Buhari and his men could blame the National Assembly for their incompetence, adding that the National Assembly should not to succumb to 'blackmail and intimidation' from the presidency.

The governor, who declared that Nigeria will no longer be ruled by octogenarians, said: "Nigerians must have now come to terms that I warned them that Buhari is too old to govern a country like Nigeria."

Politics / Re: El-rufai’s Religious Bill In Kaduna ‘absolutely Wrong’ – Senator Shehu Sani by fel0374: 12:22pm On Apr 11, 2016
learn to separate politics from what is rational.

I consider myself a Christian, so I cannot support anything that would hurt those who believe in the gospel of christ.

I 've gone through the bill and apart from a little fine-tuning that it needs, I really don't think it's a bad one.

Some quick questions:

1. How many of you enjoy churches or mosques that are almost making you go insane in your area? Sometimes, it's just 5 members inside a cubicle making your life unbearable.

2. Is the bill only for christians?

3. How much do you like islamic preachers or pastors that preach hate.

4. Shouldn't religion be a private endeavour? Why should a muslim loudspeaker wake me up by 5am or a Christian vigil keep me awake all night.

5. Do you know how many Nigerians with dreams of a brighter future have been sent to their early graves as a result of hate sermons.

Ps: I have my reservations about the licensing thing because it can be abused, though it's not even the government that's doing the licensing.

I believe that there has to be a way of curbing the excesses of these zealots, but dont hate that bill because you hate el-rufai.

By the way, the senator is a political arch-enemy of el-rufai, so must know where he's coming from. Let's not always follow the crowd......
