This is not a hatred towards Glo network. I believe it is high time someone spoke out concerning the injustice of Glo network. I loaded a card of 2k subscribed for data @#500 for 1GB .. It was remaining #1,500 this is aside the bonus gotten from the card loaded. Now i got deducted a #100 and immediately i noticed i called Glo customer care and i was told that it was for facebook notification something i never subscribed for.. I was sent a message which is below ... Message was received through 7018

Dear Customer, Your VAS activated without intent Ref: GLO 1-3091513238 is expected to be resolved within 48 HRS. Glo Unlimited!!!

I waited patiently for the 48HRS to elapse but only for another deduction to take place again this time a #50 deduction.

Please note that we are into recession. N i am speaking out because i believe if #100/#50 is deducted from a million peoples account without their consent that will amount to millions by way of stealing..

Glo is defrauding Nigerians removing money from Nigerians account without any legit reason for doing so, only to end up lying that you subscribed for something you did not subscribe to.

Please Mods i will like this to be moved to Front Page n i will like all who have been affected one way or the other to speak out and Finally i will like the NCC to see this and know that Glo is running a fraud on nigerians

I even called cc , and they claim nothing like that, most of the cc rep are actually not aware of services most times. Has anyone experienced this before? how do i proceed? Can't be monitoring a flash message to appear and disappear abeg.

That Glo supposed 3G network is very terrible is no longer news. It really is getting worse and worst.

But will like to know whether their 4G LTE network is any different. Whether it is very fast. Even "just fast" will be enough. If this is so, want to get a phone with the 28(700) 4G band so that I can continue to get benefit of their big & cheap data bundles. If their 4G is just like their 3g, then I rather just switch to another network instead of changing smartphone.



So who are those already on the Glo 4G LTE network? Please share your experience with us.

from where I am staying the 4g connection is worse than the 3g, the 4g SIM is useless

While surfing the internet in search of a good recharge package on MTN, I came across the Awuf4u pack whereby you load airtime with *888*pin# and you get 3 times bonus plus your original voucher value. It looked attractive so I gave it a try(though I doubted if it would profit me since MTN is involved) with a #100 recharge.

Truthfully I was given (100 * 3) 100 = #400, but it was in a separate account other than the main account (thats not really an issue though).
I decided to make an experimental voice call for analytical purposes and below is my discovery:

I called for 10 seconds and was charged #4.95
therefore a minute(60s) call would cost (4.95 * 60)/10 = #29.7 .
The whole #400 given would therefore make 400/29.7 = 13.468 minutes of voice call.

Ordinarily making a call of 1minute on Mtn zone plan(12k/s) would cost (12 * 60)/100 = #7.2 .
Therefore the #100 would make a call of 100/7.2 =
13.8888888 minutes.

Comparing the above results you can see that the MTN Awuf4u plan is a kinda scam since it ends up profiting MTN instead of the customer.

At last MTN showed once again that they don't have the interest of their subscribers at heart with this SUGAR-COATED Awuf4u package of theirs.

Hi guys, today's post is as the header says, about the Tecno W5 Lite, Tecno actually launched the W5 earlier. Recently smartphone brands are known to launch devices with a little upgrade form the immediate predecessor like the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus the Gionee M6 and M6 plus , some others go for a little "downgrade" if you like to call it that. Where the device has less features or some missing features that comes with the predecessor, in the case of an upgrade it's called 'plus', but in a downgrade 'mini' or Lite as in the case of the Tecno W5 Lite.
