You really have a huge point, despite all human efforts to save marriage, its God that saves marriage! |
After going through a book on relationship and infidelity, I decided to bring out the following facts and post them on Love and Relationship, but then which of these facts affect you, and which do you totally agree with? • More than 90% of divorces in long-standing marriages involve infidelities some time during the marriage. • • Nearly 70% of all married men and 60% of married women have had affairs (outside wedlock). That’s two out of every three marriages. • Every ten to thirteen seconds someone gets divorced worldwide. • 50% of women and 33% of men remain angry for ten years after a divorce. • Women have more trouble starting new relationships than divorced men do. • More than 50% may be involved in a current affair, yet only 25% cite an affair as an actual reason for divorce. • 80% of those who divorce during an affair regret the decision. • Over 75% who marry partners in an affair eventually divorce. • The divorce rate and ratio of infidelity are much higher among marriage partners in an affair. • The average affair lasts two to four years. • If an affair becomes public it is doomed. • If an affair replaces the marriage, it is subject to the same emotional stresses as the marriage but is twice as likely to fracture. • An affair prevents binding ties from being formed. Eventually it has nowhere to go. Sooner or later it will suffocate in secrecy. • Affairs die for the same reason as marriage, lack of intimacy. Do you think it's possible to forgive -- and forget -- after an affair? Find out what everyone else thinks………… CULLED FROM http://www.hchroniclenetwork.com/groups/love-and-relationship/forum/topic/infidelity-in-relationships follow @ http://www.twitter.com/Hchroniclenet for more updates |

Good evening everyone! Want to wish us all a happy Easter celebration in arrears! But then something cropped up my dear mind during the weekend while i watched an alcoholic telling his so called 'trusted' Doctor that Alcohol for him is an abomination. oops! so ridiculous it sounds. Hence, when seeing your doctor, gynecologist, dentist, or other specialist, patients are often faced with the difficulty of answering some tough questions; these questions are tough indeed, for example, “Do you have multiple sexual partners? When was the first time you had a sexual intercourse?’’ or ‘’Do you smoke weed?" depending on the nature of the illness. But because some of these questions could be embarrassing, or a patient doesn’t want to go on a ‘boring lecture spree’ with the doctor, or because he or she doesn’t want to be judged, patients tend to bend the truth a little in the examination room, in some cases totally false answers are given. However, the minutest lie told by a patient might lead to mismanagement and consequently grave danger; patients should try as much as possible to provide the right answers to the following questions frequently asked by physician. "HOW OFTEN DO YOU TAKE ALCOHOL?’’ The popular lie here is ‘I don’t take alcohol’. You don’t actually have to lie about this, if you consume excessive alcohol, it’s important to let your Doc know since a high consumption of alcohol is linked to liver damages and even breast cancer in women. Also, so as to let your doctor know the choice of drugs to prescribe for you, excess alcohol in blood and body system affects drug metabolism, hence it may seem your doctor’s prescription is not working. SO DO YOU LIE ABOUT ALCOHOL INTAKE? "DO YOU SMOKE?" In fact letting your doctor know you smoke and the number of sticks per day would not only lessen the burden on your physical health but also help your specialists devise better ways of managing your psychological health, hence preventing or solving the problem of addiction. Smoking causes premature wrinkling, asthma, and lung cancer, and it also raises your risk for stroke, so you need to be truthful with your doctor about tobacco intake. HOW OFTEN DO YOU DECEIVE YOUR DOCTOR ON YOUR TOBACCO INTAKE? "DO YOU TAKE ILLICIT DRUGS?" ‘‘I would never do drugs’’! This is a common response of many patients. Off course adolescents and young adults would not want to admit to taking illicit drugs because of the law implication. However these substances can greatly harm your body system and your doctor would only ask about it because it's his or her job to make you as healthy as possible. SO DO YOU LIE ABOUT YOUR SUBSTANCE USE? “DO YOU PRACTICE UNSAFE SEX" It's understandable that you don't want to admit that you have casual sex or don't use protection for fear that it may make you seem irresponsible or promiscuous. The problem is unsafe sex can put you at risk of contracting a host of sexually transmitted infections and diseases like HIV and Hepatitis viral infection. It's important to be straight with your Doc so you can be tested. Do YOU LIE ABOUT PRACTISING SAFE SEX? "DO YOU KEEP FIT ON DAILY BASIS" Working out for at least 30 minutes a day isn't just for people trying to lose weight. Daily exercise makes your muscles stronger, prevents osteoporosis, strengthens your heart (which prevents heart disease), can lower high blood pressure, and lowers your risk of breast cancer and diabetes. So do it for your health, and not because you don't want to disappoint your doc. Do you lie about how often you exercise? "DO YOU TAKE YOUR MEDICATIONS AS PRESCRIBED?" Side effect is one reason why some patients don’t take their medications, other reason might be because the doctor has not explained or educated patient well on importance of drug compliance. However, if patients don't do exactly as their doctor prescribes, they might come back with a relapse. Hence, the best thing is to openly communicate with your doctor about your medications. Find out if there are alternative medications that have fewer side effects. Are you truthful about how you take prescriptions? "DO YOU PERFORM SELF BREAST EXAMINATION MONTHLY?" For women, checking your breast every month will help you notice changes in your breast tissue. So, which of these lies do you 'sincerely' tell your Doctor? culled from http://www.hchroniclenetwork.com/ you can follow me @ https://twitter.com/Hchroniclenet for more updates Do have a wonderful night @nairaland |
Bosom Augmentation (HYPERTROPHIC MAMMOPLASTY) involves the introduction of an exogenous substance (implant) into the breast tissues. This is one of the various breast reconstruction surgeries. Implants are of various sizes (small, medium, large) and types (saline filled implants and silicone filled implants). The largest clinical-size is 12-14, equals the size of a potato. However there’re researches already suggesting these materials to be linked with a rare lymphoma (anaplastic large cell lymphoma; ALCL) around the tissue of implantation. These conclusions are by all means arguable! Here are important questions you then need to ask. Would breast augmentation fit my body physique? According to experts, breast transplant is better in slim women with actually small breasts, it makes this category of women look classically attractive. Oops! This may not be a bad option after all……………….. Why would my doctor offer me an option of breast augmentation? (1)In some cases of breast cancer your doctor might provide you with an option of breast transplantation, after mastectomy (surgical removal of the breast and or supporting tissues following certain cancer of the breast), usually done despite the advent of breast conservation therapy and neo-adjuvant chemotherapy. (2) In certain Congenital anomalies (3) developmental abnormalities (4) traumatic disfigurement. More so, issue of transexualization may also warrant breast transplantation. In most cases of breast transplantation, the CHOICE of a woman has always been a crucial factor, these choices are influenced by a woman’s obsession and her career needs. Hush! Did I say career needs? Bet one of the major licenses to becoming a celebrated entertainer today is a mandatory plastic surgery of the face, hip or breast. Sorry did I mention mandatory, I meant compulsory, all the same this is a more common practice in the entertainment world than one could have imagined 10years ago. What are the problems and burdens of this procedure? Invariably all surgical procedures carry the risk of complication, which could be from either the surgical operation or anaesthesia. However majority of breast transplantations are done by highly experienced plastic surgeons, therefore reducing the risk of these complications, did I mean there is usually no room for wacks? Apparently I have just said that. Breast transplantation isn’t a cheap procedure; in addition a woman that just had breast transplantation would require time to time replacement of the silica balloon in the nearest future. Therefore with your knowledge of breast transplantation, it is advisable to consider carefully the attractions, set-backs, cultural and family view (including spouse’s view) and most importantly the genuine need for this procedure before choosing to lie on that theatre table. And the question now is ARE YOU READY FOR BREAST AUGMENTATION? culled from http://www.hchroniclenetwork.com/ watch out for more posts on controversial issues on health only on NAIRALAND you can follow me on http://www.twitter.com/Hchroniclenet see you soon!
