While confirming the request, Bob Howe, a spokesperson for Fordham said "we had received a phone call and we told the caller that Fordham is bound by federal law and that we could not/would not reveal/share any records (as we would not reveal any student records) with anyone except Mr.Trump himself or any recipient he designated in writing. Continuing, he said, our stance remains the same, we obey federal law and don 't release students records to anyone but the student/graduate or anyone the student designate in writing. President Bola Tinubu, having studied and graduated in a U.S University is also protected under same 1974 Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act as was both Obama and Trump. While Chicago State University has repeatedly claimed and had sworn under an oath that President Tinubu is an alumni having graduated from the school in 1979. Was it not a double standard for a US Court to have ordered a release of a student records, thereby breaking its own law?. Is this not discrimination? |

The word "sealed" or a sealed document usually means a judge has ruled that records normally open to the public cannot be released without court permission. Despite Trump's requests, Obama's records supposedly sealed were not released. As Obama was running for re-election in 2012, Trump called him a terrible student and demanded he release his academic records to the public. He offered to make a $5million charity donation if Obama released his transcripts, labelling him as the least transparent President in the history of the country. Few years later, when Trump became candidate, he directed his Attorney to threaten his own high school, college0 and the college board against ever releasing his academic grades, "if in the event any of his records are released or otherwise disclose without his prior written consent, we will hold your institution liable to the fullest extent of the law including damages and criminality" Cohen wrote in a letter to Fordham University on behalf of Trump in May 2015. |

Better not waste energy on that guy anymore, he keeps deflecting to the small error of University of Chicago which had long been corrected and sorted. DaddyJapan: Niiitwits are usually incapable of maintaining more than one stream of thought at the same time. Therefore your retort here does not surprise me.
No, CSU never denied issuing Tinubu with a certificate. For completeness, CSU also never denied its alumni who decided to lay claim to having attended the more prestigious University of Chicago instead!
Now jog along, you slippery rattlesnake. CSU never denied, good. But Tinubu then went ahead to forge a certificate that had already been issued to him, right?. I want you to keep at it so that your kids would come on nairaland to see an intellectual midget they have for a father. |

Its ceremonial and all that talk.....does the certificate submitted to inec by Tinubu belong to CSU? Did CSU ever deny issuing Tinubu a certificate?. Let's start from there |

Can you hear Atiku dogshit coming out of your mouth. Quick questions; 1. Tell me one thing CSU lied about under subpoena? 2. Did CSU ever deny issuing Tinubu a certificate?, if they did, show me or keep swallowing Atiku's black poo. |

Read number 4, peddling and confusing yourself with an original and certified copy issued at different times is not evidence, that's your own personal confusion and inability to read and follow the case intelligently.
The CSU dealt with this rubbish already and they swore to it under oath.
Again, stop limiting your own intelligence all because of hatred and petty politics, it's sad, it's pathetic and ridiculous. The problem with these goatheads is that they think they know more than the school. I ask again, what certificate did Atiku's lawyer have that we have not seen?. Did CSU ever deny issuing Tinubu a certificate?, so why must he forge what was issued to him? |

You're so dumb dumb. You capping bullshit, what document did Atiku's lawyer got that has already not been in public?, what's new ?, both tribunal and US court received copies as well. DaddyJapan: I thought you had already ran off, you uncultured urchin.
Let me break it down to you. The emblem on the certificate stamped below has never been used by CSU at anytime in its history. This is read flag #1 and also why Atiku's lawyers has been able to argue a case with great success.
I hope your blinkered eyes see the INEC stamp on it? This is nolonger a news, CSU already admitted changes to their newly designed certificate, the one issued in 1979 is different from the new one issued to him when he reapplied, changes are bound to occur periodically. The school has said severally that the certificate is ceremonial, hence it's as useless as your pea brain. Twitter has used your brain to clean the floor, all of you. Twitter ragtags. |

Goodvibes007: CSU said diplomas are ceremonial and not student records. They said they don't keep such records. So what diploma (ceremonial) is CSU going to give Atiku to verify against whatever Tinubu submitted to INEC?
Thanks for adding the thisday link as well. It only confirms why the school won't authenticate. English is their major problem, they do not understand the meaning of a "ceremonial certificate". The more we try explaining to them, the more dumber they kick. |

Source: https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2023/09/14/chicago-state-university-refuses-to-authenticate-certificate-tinubu-submitted-to-inec
The diploma in question can easily be sourced from a #FakeDiploma website, diploma-makers.com/fake-diploma-samples/usa. I attached a similar copy a few days ago. You are an illiterate, there's no where the certificate submitted to INEC Was alluded to be fake. CSU cannot testify under an oath to a ceremonial certificate that is not an official record. They had already testified under oath to his transcript. The certificate is only ceremonial and useless. English is a big problem to all of you, bunch of half baked unemployable graduates. |

DaddyJapan: Tinubu would have done himself irreparable damage if CSU accede to ALL of Atiku's demands - let's bear in mind now that it is still up to that university to decide on how much information it wants to release. I say this because he was the one who brazenly submitted a replacement but fake diploma to INEC.
But the bigger question is whether or not Atiku would be permitted to introduce new documents to Nigeria's supreme court at this stage in the proceedings. Atiku has won the battle so far, but I would not bet against the Teflon Don winning the war. Not just yet. keep quiet if you don't know what to say. Stop regurgitating shiit from your head. |

The country is in a dire situation so there's no hiding place for those in power who continuously kept it in doldrums and those in support of these useless government should be called out.. So what if he supports Tinubu?. We are in this same country seeing yahoo boys and prostitutes support Obi, would that be a sufficient ground to pass a judgement on Obi?. It is downright daftness when people hold tight a jaundiced view of an individual awithout having no facts to back it up, without no court judgement convicted him of any crime, especially when such views are cooked up stories thrown down your throat from the enemies camp. The country is in doldrum today because y'all ate your today yesterday and you still want to eat your children's tomorrow today. Oga, park well abeg. |
