*INTRODUCTION*:
It is the human nature to always revenge or to give reactions to what people say or do to us especially, when they are hurting. The physical reaction may not deal with the root of the source of the hurt. Most of the time, we may not be in the knowhow of the root of our hurts, but when we surrender the hurt and its source unto God, He knows how to deal with them even beyond our wildest imagination.

*MEMORY VERSE*:
“O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew Thyself..” – Psalm 94:1

*TEXT REVIEW*: Romans 12:17-21

i. Never should your actions be a cause to revenge.
ii. Love covers multitude of sin.
iii. Avoid conflict/fight and live in peace with all men.
iv. The battle is of the Lord.
v. God is just and Righteous. You should count on His Judgement.

*LESSON OUTLINE*
*WHY YOU SHOULD ALLOW GOD TO AVENGE YOUR ENEMIES*:

1. Every hurt and its root is planned and devised by the devil.
2. The human host used by the devil may be unaware until he/she has been used.
3. God knows and understands the root of all evil devices.
4. God's action is to deal with the evil and to ultimately put them to shame.
5. God's action is complete, total and permanent.
6. Human action is from the flesh, temporary and partial.
7. God's judgement is sometimes arranged to bless or to promote you.

*SUMMARY*:
God's Judgement can be trusted, never avenge your enemies.

*CONCLUSION*:
Sometimes when you want to revenge, you receive more hurts or injury. So, why not leave the revenge to Him. God sees everything, but we see just a little. Let the One who sees everything take up total revenge against our enemies.
Do not act by yourself or through any other person or means. Let your God arise and let Him scatter His enemies (Psalm 68:1-3), because your enemies are God's enemies. Exodus 23:22

Take time to and forgive all your offender even if you have to hand them over to God's Judgment.

*WEDNESDAY*: Job 13:3 – Every revenge comes with future questioning or litigations, but God´s revenge is unquestionable.

*THURSDAY*: Isaiah 63:4; Proverbs 24:29 – ´Vengeance is mine´ means you cannot really take the right vengeance against your enemies.

*FRIDAY*: Isaiah 35:4 – Most of our enemies are stronger than us. Let the invincible and unconquerable God deal with your enemies for you.

*LESSON INTRODUCTION*: Sin connotes evil and lawlessness (1 John 3:4). It is derived from the Greek word "hamartia" which means to "miss the mark". It can also refer to doing something against God and a person (Exo. 10:16). It is also failing to do something you know is right (James 4:17). Since the Bible says all unrighteousness is sin, we shall attempt to unravel some of the forms sin takes as well as it's consequences

*LESSON OUTLINE 1*:*FORMS OF SIN*.
The reacher should identify the various forms of unrighteousness and lawlessness man engages in as established in the Bible.
1. Trespass: is a form of sin that occurs when we cross a line we ought not to and do that which annoys or inconveniences one another. It could be intentional or unintentional. It occurs as a result of our sinful nature and tendencies of self (Gen. 50:17). We all cross the line in thought, words or attitude many times a day and we should be quick to forgive others who do the same (Matt. 6:15).

2. Transgression: refers to presumptuous sin (Deut. 1:43; 2 Peter 2:10). It means to intentionally choose to disobey. It can be called wilful trespass. Samson intentionally broke the Nazarite's vow (Num. 6:1-5; Judges. 14:8-9; 16:17). Hen we deliberately disobey public laws, tell a lie, or blatantly disregard an authority, we are transgressing (Ps. 19:14).

3. Iniquity: is a sin that becomes so consuming that a person can be identified by that lifestyle. It means guilt worthy of punishment. It is sin at its worst because it is premeditated, continuing and escalating. David was found with iniquity. (2 Sam. 11:3-4; 2 Sam. 12:9; Ps. 51:2).

4. Reprobacy: When a man continues in his abominations until repentance becomes difficult, he is reprobate (Titus 1:16). In other words, it is the progression of sin in which the sinner no longer has the desire or ability to repent. It is to be "thoroughly depraved, given over to evil until the conscience is seared" and given to unnatural affections (Rom. 1:28-32; 1 Sam. 3:13-14; 2 Tim. 3:.

5. Apostacy: derived from the Greek word "apostasia" means a defiance of an established system or authority. It is an abandonment or breach of faith. It is expressed as either a falling away from key and true doctrines of the Bible into heretical teaching or a complete renunciation of the Christian faith which results in full abandonment of Christ (Heb. 6:4-6; 1 John 2:19).

*CLASS ACTIVITY 1*: Discuss the differences between reprobacy and apostacy.

*LESSON OUTLINE 2*: *CONSEQUENCES OF AND REMEDY FOR SIN*
I. CONSEQUENCES OF SIN
The teacher should explain there are consequences for what a man does and sin is no exception (Gal. 6:7). Below are some of the consequences of sin:
1. The ultimate and severest consequence of sin is death both physical and spiritual (Rom. 6:23; Ezek. 18:4).
2. Sin leads to regression. (Prov. 14:34).
3. It leads to broken fellowship and eventual lack of spiritual growth (Isaiah 59:2a; Gal. 5:19-21), which further brings about shame, confusion, loneliness and sense of guilt (Gen. 3:6-7).
4. It is harmful to others. (Matt. 2:16; Rom. 5:12).
5. It can bring about severe discipline which can sometimes lead to death when a heart is hardened to a point of no return (1 Cor. 11:30; 1 John 5:16).
6. It can enslave a man, that is, it brings about more sin if not checked on time (1 Cor. 2:14; John 8:;34).

II. REMEDY FOR SIN
God's remedy for sin is the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:7). The death of Jesus on the cross is sufficient to pardon all sins (John 1:29; Rom. 5:18).
a. Whenever we accept the divine substitution He made on the cross, by confessing all our sins, repenting and believing the sacrifice He made on our behalf (2 Cor. 5:21), God sees us as righteous. Our sins are pardoned and we are no longer considered guilty and deserving of punishment (Rom. 3:21-26).
b. The only sin that God cannot forgive is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit as well as the final rejection of His drawing to repentance (Matt. 12:32; Luke 12:10).

*CLASS ACTIVITY 2*: The teacher and students should discuss their experience on the consequences of sin.

*SUMMARY*: Every sinner should embrace God's provision for salvation in order to escape the consequences of sin.

*CONCLUSION*: Sin, in whatever dimension, is destructive. No matter how far you have gone down the lane of sin, when you genuinely repent (Acts 2:37-38), and confess (1 John 1:19), the blood of Jesus is enough to cleanse you from all sins.

*EVALUATION*: What are the forms of sin known to you?

*CLOSING PRAYER*: Father, give me the grace to overcome sin.

INTRODUCTION:
Spiritual adoption is an act of God's grace by which He brings men into the number one of His redeemed family and make them partakers of all the blessings He has provided for them. Adoption represents the new relations into which the believer is introduced by justification (Romans 8:29; 8:15) contrasts two spirits: an impersonal "spirit of bondage" or "spirit of slavery" and the Holy Spirit, called here "the Spirit of adoption". The bible presents a high view of adoption and uses it to parallel the relationship God wants to have with us (2Corinthians 6:17-18). There are privileges connected with being adopted by God which every child of God must not just be conversant with but also enjoy (John 15:15).

SPIRIT OF ADOPTION VERSUS SPIRIT OF SLAVERY

God has made spiritual adoption possible faith in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ (John 3:16-18; 1:12; 14:6; Romans 8:14). Based on our faith and confession of Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord (Romans 10:9-10), God adopts us into His eternal family. We receive the Spirit of adoption when we accept, by faith, the grace that has been offered to us in Christ (Ephesians 1:5; Romans 8:23; Luke 10:27). It is the Spirit of adoption who teaches us to call out to God as our "Abba, Father" (Matthew 6:9).

BENEFITS OF ADOPTION

The Spirit of adoption makes us joint-heirs with Jesus Christ (Romans 8:17) which allows us to "come boldly before the throne of grace" (Hebrews 4:16) as a beloved child runs to his father in times of trouble. Because of the Spirit of adoption, we can enjoy serving God without fear or obligation. Other benefits include enjoying God's peculiar love (John 17:23; Romans 5:5-; a spiritual nature (2Peter 1:4; John 1:13); divine protection, guidance, consolation, comfort, supplies and peace (Luke 12:27-32; John 14:18; 16:13; 2Corinthians 1:4; Romans 5:1); fatherly chastisements (Hebrews 12:5-11) and a future glorious inheritance (Romans 8:17,23; James 2:5; Philippians 3:21).

CONCLUSION
In spite of being born again through faith in Christ's sacrifice for their sins (John 3:3), some believers still cling to a spirit of slavery, never realising the freedom that is theirs with the Spirit of adoption. Stand firm in the liberty wherein Christ has made you free (Galatians 5:1; John 8:33). You are a son&daughter of God, not a slave.

1.Thank You, Father, for the salvation of my soul and for the privilege and honour to be called to serve in Your vineyard.
