8.Father, give me the grace never to ignore the voice of Your Holy Spirit; help me to heed His counsels, promptings and advices, at all times, in Jesus' name.

9.Father, empower me to manifest the fruits of the Spirit and help me to live a life filled with love, joy, faith, patience, peace, gentleness, goodness, meekness and temperance, in Jesus' name.

And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, "I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her." And he came out that very hour.

INTRODUCTION
It is better to prevent demonic attack than seek for deliverance. However, anyone under the influence of demons needs to learn about how to deal with the situation and be free (John 8:32, 36).

SCRIPTURAL CONDITIONS FOR DELIVERANCE

The effective response of demons to our command to lose their hold and get out of the regions of their operation largely depends on some scriptural conditions.
These include Strong faith/belief (Mark 16:17) in the power that is in the name of Jesus Christ (Philippians 2:9-11), a life of holiness (Hebrews 4:12), the anointing/power of God that flows through the Holy Spirit (Isaiah 61:1-2), Fasting and praying (Matthew 17:15-211), submission to God (James 4:5-7) and the blood of Jesus (Revelations 12:11).

STEPS TO BEING DELIVERED

Unwilling victims of demonic attack seeking deliverance must first acknowledge the supremacy of the power and authority of Jesus over demons (Matthew 28:18). Such victims should also believe that power to overcome demons has been delegated to true believers/followers of Christ ( Mark 16:15, 17; Luke 10:19). They must therefore seek help/counsel in order to be completely delivered. Hence, the following steps are crucial to dealing with demons:

1. Total surrender to Christ because demons do not bow to those that are not in Christ (Acts 19:14-16, Philippians 2:9-11).

2. Readiness to let go of habitual/besetting sins like anger, failure to forgive, bitterness etc. in order to get rid of demonic strongholds (Hebrews 12:1, Romans 7: 18-25)

3. Subjection to proper discipleship and nurtured in the word of God (Luke 10:1, 17; Psalm 107:20; John 8:32; James 1:25).

4. Plead the blood of Jesus, exercise your authority and bind the demon in operation and command it to get out in the name of Jesus (Revelations 12:11).

5. After deliverance, continue steadfastly in the faith (Galatians 5:1), living a life of holiness (Proverbs 16:7) and serving the Lord Jesus faithfully (Romans 12:11). This will insure 'the delivered' against a recurrence of demonic attack (Matthew 12:43-44).

CONCLUSION
Every genuine believer can deal with demons and put them where they belong.

*INTRODUCTION*:
What is fasting? By fasting, our focus is on christian fasting, and it is defined as voluntarily going without food in order to focus on prayer and fellowship with God. Fasting acts as a booster for accelerated answered prayers. It shows our seriousness and connects all our energies to trust God for our petitions. It increases our faith and can easily trigger the release of our blessings. While fasting many people study the bible, pray or worship etc..
Fasting should not be in the form of abstinence from food alone as this is commonly referred to as mere hunger strike. It require us to draw closer to God in prayer.

*BENEFITS OF FASTING:*

- Fasting helps to make important decisions. – Acts 13:1-3
- We fast for safety. – Ezra 8:21-23
- Fasting is a form of worship. – Luke 2:37
- It gives strength in weakness. – 1 Corinthians 6:5
- A repentant frame of mind. – 1 Samuel 7:6-7; 1 Samuel 7:13; Jonah 3:5-10
- We fast for deliverance. – Esther 4:16; Esther 7:9-10
- We fast to overcome addictions
- Fasting strengthens intimacy with God. – Exodus 24:18

When he had spoken such words to me, I turned my face toward the ground and became speechless.

INTRODUCTION:
Demons are fallen angels who joined the devil (Lucifer) in the rebellion against God ( Isaiah 14:12-16; Rev. 12:3-4). They are spirit beings (Matt. 8:16). Demons are referred to by several alternate names including unclean spirit (Mark 1:27), evil spirit (Acts 19:15), familiar spirit (Isaiah 19:3), lying spirit (1Kings 22:23), seducing spirit (1Timothy 4:1). Some of the false gods/idols that receive human sacrifices are described as devils, an alternative name also (Deut. 32:17, 1Cor. 10:20). They are powerful but limited and ultimately defeated creatures (2Thess. 2:6-7). Believers must understand the rulers operations of demons in order to avoid being their victims.

MANIFESTATIONS OF DEMONS

Demons manifest in diverse dimensions and territories (Daniel 10:13). They seek to destroy the work of God and deceive anyone they can (1Peter 5:8, 2Corinthians 11:14-14). They spread false doctrines (1Timothy 4:1), attack people (Mark 9:20-22) and combat holy angels (Daniel 10:13).
Demons, as spirit beings, have the ability to take possession of a physical body -human or animal (Mark 5:2,13). Demon possession involves a demon having a complete control over the thoughts and actions of a person (Mark 5:2-5). Opening yourself up to the possibilities (likeliness) of demon possession is foolish and dangerous. Generally, habitual sins, a refusal to forgive, unbelief or a hardened heart can be an entering point (John 12:6). Others include involvement in cults, divination, drug/alcohol abuse, rebellion, bitterness and new age practices (transcendental meditations or astral projections).
The absence of the Holy spirit in the life of a person makes such life vulnerable to demonic possession and even when delivered it becomes merely an empty dwelling place ready for more wicked demons to inhabit (Luke 11:24-26).

AVOIDING DEMONIC OPERATIONS

We cannot fight spiritual battles with fleshy weapons (2Cor. 10:4). To avoid demonic attacks and operations, a believer must, first and foremost, be genuinely born again sanctified, filled with the Holy Spirit and always seek the knowledge of the word of God. He/she must also be prayerful, putting on the whole armour of God. (Eph. 6:13-18). The believer's focus must not shift from Jesus Christ (Hebrews 12:2). He/she must fellowship with other true believers (Heb. 10:25) and avoid ungodly associations (2Cor. 6:14-18).
Believers should note that Christ has disarmed the power and authorities of the devil and all demons (Col. 2:15, Eph. 4:. Believers should, therefore, totally submit to God, exercise their faith ( 1Peter 5:9) and resist the devil (James 4:7).

CONCLUSION
Anyone that permits the operations of demons will not fulfill destiny because demons are destiny destroyers (John 10:10)

*INTRODUCTION*:
Who is a “youth”? A youth is a young person, who is full of energy, vibrant and is between upper teen´s years and twenties and thirties. The “Combatant Soldier of the Cross” on the other hand may be defined as a soldier of the armies of God or those who release themselves to be used as His battle-axe in winning souls, establishing souls before God, in delivering captives and in ensuring that destinies of people are restored back. We pray that the Holy Spirit gives us more insight into the topic.

*LESSON OUTLINES*

*WHY SHOULD YOUTH BE COMBATANT SOLDIERS OF THE CROSS?*
1. Nobody knows when his/her time will be up, that death will come knocking, so it is better to start early in life, so that whenever the time is up, heaven will be one´s surest destination.
2. It is good to be trained, to imbibe good virtues and to be able to demonstrate what one has learned right from the youthful age.
3. The element of surprise is often associated with many activities of the youth.
4. The youthful exuberance always makes them to be determined to make a change; in this case: a positive change.
5. Energy or strength which is needed in addition to the wisdom of God to be able to excel as a soldier of the cross, can be found abundantly in the youth. - Proverbs 20:29; Psalm 8:2
6. Apart from being a good ground for God to demonstrate His greatness, it also provides opportunity to use them for a longer period.
7. The ability to combine modern technology with the ancient knowledge gained and by listening to the voice of God or through reading His words makes them more advantageously placed than adults.
8. They consequently have a wider audience to reach out than the older ones.
9. The popular adage says: “An idle mind is the devils workshop”. When we engage our youth in things of God, obviously the kingdom of the devil will be depopulated.
10. Engaging them from a youthful age in things of God also will not allow them to occupy their minds with devilish acts, such as joining cults, internet frauds, pornographic sides, addiction and other vices.

*SUMMARY*: God's army is the strongest and the best you can find, join now at the possible peak of your effectiveness.

*CONCLUSION*:
Every family should make it a matter of utmost priority to ensure that their young ones are enlisted into God's Army.

*PRAYER POINTS*:

2. My father, my father, please help us to train our youth in the way of the Lord.
3. Almighty father, please help all the youth of RCCG worldwide to be established as God´s Combatants.
