I dont want to run ahead of myself but clearly these semi final match-ups will be the dream of any football fun and will be electrifying considering the history of these four countries.

Ghana vs Nigeria

For obvious reasons this is arguably the biggest match in African football and the build up to a game like this will mouth watering with everyone claiming superiority over the other.

Algeria vs Egypt

Considering the recent events surrounding these two countries, this match will be tensioned filled

I will really be hoping for these countries to make it to the semis and that will be when the afcon 2010 will truly come to life

The Black Stars of Ghana became the first country in Africa to qualify for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The Black stars took advantage of a mali draw with benin to cruise to south africa after goals from muntari and essien aided the stars to an impressive win over sudan. The stars beat mali and sudan away and are yet to concede a goal in this qualifiers. The question is could the blackstars have another impressive appearance at the world cup in south africa

will essien be missin de second leg after takin another yellow card?this surely is his secon after takin one against barca in camp nou.if yes.then is certainly serious since terry migt not be playin.

i was surprised to see maurinho use essien as a right back 4 the second time.the first was against barca in the champs lg and then this one against man u what is happening to his rightbacks?essien has always performed better than the rightback anytime he is asked to play that role. against barca ,he launched the attack that resulted in drogba's goal.against manu ,he won the corner that resulted in the goal.anytime maurinho does this it works for him so he describes essien as multi functional.my fear however is that he will end up converting that boy into a defender like he did to geremi.i think it is about time we signed a new rightback. geremi ,ferreira and boularhouz are jus not living to expectation.wat do u suggest?

essien has so far this season,proved to be one of the most reliable midfielders in chelsea.i personally thought he was goin to lose his position after the signings of ballack and mikel but has so far proved me wrong, how do u think?

i actually have taken ma time to watch all chelsea matches since the start of de season.en one player that seems to be rediscovering himself is essien.he has startd de season tremendously and has contributed in de score of almost every goal and also got agoal for himself in de champs league.no wonder he is hailed by maurino and playmates.i dont think we should blame our new signings for now.when we signed essien last season,he underperformed as expectd.but look at this season.drogba is another exmple.
