how would killing a commander affect Hezbollah when the next in line will just be appointed and operation continue? This is just like killing a soldier even haniyya was killed and hamas have not stopped fighting Israel so how why would you think killing a commander will do anything to a group that has 100k commander ready to replace the one killed by Israel? The issue with resuce of the hostages is simply their safety cos once they storm their position hamas would open fire on the hostage which is what their leader told them..
