When you deliberately loss, you ain't learning, its best you just do a coin toss, you might have a better chance there.

Could the issue be from ur end? U may wish to check or we could create another trading link entirely.

Don't worry the market will teach you all the maths you need.

Then eventually to one sure pips a day with heavy lot.
Then eyes go come clear.

Forex is a very beautiful journey with very rough paths.

Please try all you can, explore the market, don't limit yourself until you find a path or pattern that suits you best.

Honestly, I don't like trading demo account, I like going straight to live account where I will fill the heat of forex trade. When i am trading demo account I don't take it serious, sometimes I don't even open the chat, I do forget that I opened at position when
I am trading demo account. The tension, heart beat , the anxiety, the emotions and seriousness that goes with live account is not same with demo account.
As a beginner don't tell yourself that you will cut your yout trade when is going against you,,,please and please always put your stoploss as you place a trade..,, the thinking that a negative trade will bounce back to profit will make you to blow your account. Don't worry when stoploss close your trade and that same pair bounce back to profit immediately.
When you are on profit your village people will be whispering to your ears to increase your lot size, don't try it just continue with your 0.01

It's either you have seriously backtested enough to be confident to go live, or you are still on path to being a good trader.
Else demo should always be priority.
Lol. Imagine a pilot or sailor skipping simulations because he/she wants to feel the actually thing. Lol
Life is a process. You have to move from point A to B to C,
If you skip B, there's no magic to it, you will still come back to it.
Forex is a long term goal. Demoing for a few months for a 10 year goal shouldn't be much of a sacrifice.

Learn from Loses and take time in testing your plans,
test,refine,test,refine till you ae comfortable enough again.

i have learnt that technical is stronger in forex than any form of trading thus can not be easily manipulated.
only rare events like black swan/ flash crash can really do some serious numbers
i'm referring to currency not commodities like gold etc

I don't trade the 2 accounts simultaneously in a given month, I switch between them.

As regarding the testing, here's how to goes
1. you need a backtest data which i have attached. you need more information try reading online or on YT
2. you need an EA that can open trades in BT which i have also attached, or you use FxBlue Mt4 Simulator Tester
3. if you do have a template , you can pause and attach templates,

at first it might seem alot but eventually you will get a hang of it, for any errors you are welcomed to contact me.

First download one year data from Quant and see how it works first download roughly around 500mb for a TF on a single year for one pair

Don't stress yourself over nothing,
A losing week or month doesn't mean you are doing bad.
Nothing works 100% all the time.
My candid advice,
Be thorough with your plan,
Get a 10 year data on your platform,
Slowly and patiently use a simulator to test your strategy.
When tired, if you feel fatigue, learn to rest.
But be very diligent with your testing.
You will learn alot and also know the limits and drawdowns and down period of your strategy.

That way a few losing week shouldn't be a problem.

I know the strength and weakness of my strategy.
I know what to expect and i know when to panic,
So instead of complaining why it didn't work,
Make a work around and don't be quick to change strategies.


Oh one more thing,
No dey follow trade coach abi motivational speaker oo,
Those guys don't know what is trade,
Work rigorously on testing your strategy for Atleast 5 years.
This is a top pro tip.
Most traders just scroll charts for a few month and feel they can handle to market.
History always repeats itself,
Learn from it, so you will be better equip to handle the future.
(don't use scrolling method, you technically already saw it coming thus you won't give good judgement, instead use a simulator)

After losing 16% of my equity (for my liveaccprep account),I tried to understand why I lost that large and here is what I understood;
1. Having a limited amount of pairs on the watchlist does not automatically mean no overtrading.

2. I traded with no objective amount to be risked per week

So this week, I decided to amend that and I decided to;

1. Pick only two pairs out of the five on my watchlist for every week.
2. I will risk at most 5%(i.e $10) every week.

The above simply means I have to select only high probability trades for every week. So for this week, I picked two ladies; EURUSD and USDCHF and although the setup played out today I shall hold them till they are exhausted as I'm a swing trader.
For next week, I have only USDCAD as high probability.
The plan to maximize my profit in this week's two trades are to add maximum of 3 positions on retracements.

I regret not sharing pictures for these setups as each time I post, the pictures hardly come out clearly on this forum, I wonder how Mr. Gabson does it
