Our perspective differs abit on this term.
You see it as gambling I see it as calculative risk, which basically that's what all business a built on, the more you get used to it, the lesser the risk, in a game of probability, I believe forex should be considered higher, as sweetmaris once said, "the market is just repeating itself, it has happened before"

Forex is complex but not complicated, what you think of the market becomes so.

Every business, yes is considered taking a risk, but decision, like praying to God is 100% sure, might not b immediately but definitely

The question is why did you even bring this up the first place?

Sir I'm glad you got the point,
We saw red flags all over him and we did try to tell him, but he was slamming account balance back at our face.
Now the market slammed a false signal at him and he took the bait.

We might not be seeing him here for a long time, as GU deliberately activated all his buy stops and did a home run against his direction. you can't blame the market after all price is just traders taken decisions.

Well Dukum, please read through Ogboraph post all through, I noticed two quality he had, he was greedy and had very high ego (he can boast and use person shine). don't get it wrong he was a good trader, that trade very aggressively, well karma is a bitvh and he got served full dose of it.

Then i do counter trend on lower time frames like 15Min chart and 30min knowing that the market must (i said must) retrace to 50% fibo after overbought or over sold (resistance 3 level or support 3 level) then i take advantage of it breakout of 15min to get some pips 30pips at list depending on my Chart targets. and same time i only take part profit following the Bigger time frame TRENDING DIRECTION and leaving small of the left part to run. i may place a TRADE on buy with 0.10lot and when it get to 50pips i will close only 0.05 leaving 0.05mo and as it get to 150pips i may take another 0.03 to run for weeks

so you call this Gambling? my oga please teach me more i am ready to learn oh honestly so that i can add it to my trading pattern but also take a look at my friday trading because of the upcoming NFP I did not trade mush.

Here He became the AntMan very soon the superman but karma was doomsday

Well, All in All, his Magic indicator failed him badly,
that what happens when you don't properly back test and forward test trading systems.
he relied way too much on those damn fancy things, he lost the trader he became and became a mere user of indicator.
well, he doesn't know these yet, but it was daylight saving that fvcked up his holy grail

Hello Everyone,
well, some of this trades had for more pips, but i chose to adhere to my principle,
because with this current state of USD/NGN in our country, i no go like gamble my pips,
After babysitting this trade from Yesterday (Monday) @6p till Today (Tuesday) @10am
My eyes come dey see different things, the candles came alive and started dancing on my screen,
i felt that was greed and ego kicking in, well for me not to tell stories that will have touch the heart, I closed all the trade Like a Boss

Tips for Today:
Instead of opening a full 1.0 lot size, try opening 5 positions @ 0.2 lot each, that way when one reaches a zone you could close some of the position and have some profits,
Well Mr Ogbo should have known that along time again. i felt i fell short of his own principle, but that's not for today.

Don't let the market trap you, but trap the market by using pending orders, that way in a ranging market you just relax and see if your trap would be catching any pips. PS. most of this trades be came alive by pending orders

To all NewBie,

Forex isn't that bad the way Tom painted it to be,
He is just having his recession, when he starts making it chances is that he might not come back to tell, but his post this day would leave a stigma that can't be erased.
If you are ready to trade and make money.
You need to chest out, raise head high and chin low because you will be making history soon enough.
But for this very day, find a mentor, rally around elites, read key books by people making it and watch videos, don't rely too soon on fancy indicators, you might lost your way as Tom did. The bitter truth is simplicity is what really wins in this forex world and karma is a bitvh.

It happens to me most of the time.
While I'm sleeping and believing the market is still ranging, then you wake up and see the market is move 100 pips from your planned traded. But you didn't enter.

Anyway I'm still learning to use pending orders to trade trades. I believe that should be the way forward.
