While the iPhone 5s continues in the
line of premium high budget Apple
smartphones like the earlier released
iPhone 5, the company has announced
the release of a cheaper model, the
iPhone 5c

What colours do the new iPhone 5s and
iPhone 5c come in?
The iPhone 5S will come in a gold
version as well as grey (black) and
silver versions, while the iPhone 5c will
come in a range of colours; green,
yellow, blue, white and red.
What are the new features of the new
iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c?
Processor
Apple has done some major redesign on
the iPhone 5s giving it a new A7
processor which will have a native 64-
bit kernel, libraries and drivers with 2x
general purpose registers, 2x floating
point registers, over 1 billion transistors
and 100 square mm die size. To cut the
long story short, theprocessor is
supposed to make the phone really fast.
Graphics on the phone will be 56x
faster.
Along with the new processor, the
phone will come with a brand new part
called the M7, which is a motion sensor.
It will work great for health and fitness
apps. The A7 processor is said to
harness battery power better than the
A6 processor. The iPhone 5c comes with
an A6 processor whixh will run great
for the device
Camera
The camera of the new iPhone 5s has
been totally upgraded from an 8-
megapixel shooter in the iPhone 5 to a
1.5x larger active sensor area, with a
five-element Apple-designed lens with
f/2.2 aperture that does autofocus
matrix metering. The camera will work
by taking multiple photos when you
take a single picture, and will select the
sharpest image for you.
The camera also comes with a new flash
called True Tone, with dual-LED. With
this, Apple want to match the room and
the skin tone for every picture, offering
the best possible picture even in low
light.
The camera will also offer image
stabilization as well as a new 10-shot
burst mode. It also comes with a slow-
motion option, shooting at 720p and 120
frames per second and users can edit
their videos in this slow motion mode to
select parts of the videos they want to
retain. The iPhone 5c comes with the
lesser 8MP camera but will still be great
for taking pictures.
Finger Print Scanner
The iPhone 5s will also come with a
finger print scanner that provides an
extra layer of security for users and we
may experience new developments in
mobile payments as a result of this.
The finger print scanner is integrated
on the home button, and is called
TouchID. The home button is extra
sensitive such that your fingers may
never have to touch a home button
again plus the home button is now
sapphire to prevent scratching
