The best way to scale this business is to learn and partner with those already getting their model right by consistently trading and making money. If you are serious and want to know more reach me on Whatsapp.

Good afternoon nairaland, please i just finished my studies outside Nigeria and seeing the huge potential in Nigeria when it comes to agriculture, I would like come back to set up an agricultural commodities trading company where I would buy goods directly from the farmers and the sell them in markets and companies that use these goods.

For now I want start with onions and maybe rice before going into palm oil and other farm products. Since i've been outside the country for a while now, i was only able to do my research online and I found that Aleiro in Kebbin State is where to go to if you are looking to get Onions and sell them in southern parts of the country.

Please I still need more information about this kind of business from anyone that is already into it. I would like to know the risks involved and a few other things. Thank you very much.

Hello, just reading through this because I am about to start commodity trading business as well. I have been reading up and doing research on it. I will like to know how far you've gone with your company. Please share challenges and success with me. Please share with me the best product to start with. I am thinking of starting with egg because I'm based in Lagos. I will really appreciate your help. Thank you.
