Its Ernest Emelezi, I have seen many of the so called Networking Marketing program came and go in Nigeria, and this has posed a very big treat to the money spinning industry which have prompted me to do some research about Network Marketing Business and why these programs fail after some months of operation. And I have come up with the discovery on why some of these so called Network Marketing programs fail after collecting Nigerians money.
Surprisingly, some of the people that promote these fake programs already know that what they are promoting will not see the light of the day; but they intentionally collects Nigerians hard earned money to fill their pockets, not minding what the outcome will be. Some out of ignorance do not know that what they are promoting is not what they think it is.
However, I will not dwell much on the people but the main problem; from the result of my research, one of the main reasons why these programs fail is because they are not really Network Marketing program, they are actually what the expert’s called ”Pyramid Scheme”, they look somewhat like Network Marketing Program but they are SCAM (419)!
Okay what is the point? You might ask! Very clear, the main difference between a Network Marketing program and a Scam is that a Network Marketing program must have a product or service to market; hence the name Network Marketing or Multi Level Marketing, and any program that promises to pay only when you bring people to join and they have no product or service to market is a Scam (419). I strongly advise that you stay away from such programs; they will collect your money and disappear to God knows where, without notice.

These so called Network Marketing programs are everywhere in the world not only in Nigeria anyway, but some people have imported them into the country time after time and some of these failed programs are nowhere to be found in Nigeria today. The internet has even made it easier for Nigerians to bring these programs into the country while some countries like the USA; where the Network Marketing Business Model started in early 70’s are weeding them out from their country. The terminology is; register with us, pay some amount of money, bring someone to register, when the person pays, we’ll pay you commission. Who told you anybody will agree to join you or what “if” nobody agrees to join? Then you have everything to loss. Network Marketing they say is not for everyone, because many people do not have the time to go through the process of recruiting or organizing a meeting for recruitment and there is no way you can convince them to join you even though the company have the best product and marketing plan, but they can start by consuming the product or service you have to offer.
What I mean is, they can buy the product or service from you and may decide to join after they’ve seen that such product or service add value and it’s beneficial to their life. Some can only resell the product or service for profit and also collect their monthly commission without minding about building their network of individual marketers. And this is how a true Network Marketing program works; you will not only be paid when you bring people into the program, but when you and your down-line buy the product or service on daily, weekly or monthly basis, then you will have what is called a spillover. It might start small but if nurtured and managed very well, it will grow to the level of making you rich beyond your imagination.
If you will to take my advice, care should be exercised in the selection of the Network Marketing program you represent. Because even though you may have only a nominal cash investment, if the program fails, you run the risk of loss because you will be making an investment of your most valuable assets; your irreplaceable time and contacts.

Next time you want to join a Network Marketing program, consider the following aspect of their system or plan:
 The demand and acceptability of their product or service by the masses
 Check if their product or service supplies a need and perform equal to their claims
 The Company should be a company with some operating history, ideally a minimum of two years.
 One problem with some Network Marketing Companies is that they sometimes have such heavy commissions build into the overrides that the ultimate consumer of the product or service must pay more than the fair market value of similar products bought through conversional shopping. Clearly, in such cases, people will not buy the product or service if they are not participating in the business opportunity. Price of their product or service should be considered as well as other aspect of the system or plan before you join.
 Lastly, the product or service should be consumable, if the product is something like vitamin or the service is something like financial, it will be easier to create a durable stream of income from repeat business than if it’s an once-in-a-lifetime purchase.
Note: Network Marketing is not a business on its own; rather it’s a business model or method of moving goods and services through a network of people. From my definition, you can understand that no real Network Marketing program can function without having something to offer.
If you are already in a Network Marketing program or you are thinking of join one, use this information to guard yourself against Scam.

Perhaps, this post may offend many but the truth has to be told to avert unforeseen but raging disaster. I may not be a business professional but experiences have thought me many things that I can no longer hide under any circumstance whenever I see problem looming in our growing business sector.
I have seen many so called networking marketing program (MLM) came and go in Nigeria, and this have prompted me do some research about network marketing (MLM) in 2004 on why these programs fail. By the year 2009 I was able to discover some of the main reasons why these programs after collecting Nigerians money and giving us hope disappear to oblivion without any notice whatsoever.

Hi everyone, its Ernest Emelezi. I choose the above title because I felt you might have different opinion, ideology, comment or written impression about this issue.
Perhaps, paypal is the most popular and widely used online payment processor ever found on planet earth. Though, it has its head office in the USA, but has its presence in virtually every country of the world, except the countries they don’t want to do business in, of course.
This company for many years has refused to accept Nigerians using Nigerian personal or corporate profile to create account with them. And this restriction has posed big challenge to many Nigerians which have led to frustration to some, mostly the astute internet marketers. You have to own a foreign country’s virtual address or a relative that is resident in paypal accepted country, foreign IP of such country; in some case, virtual bank account or Visa or Master Card to verify the account, it goes on and on. Many Nigerians have spent over Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) to get their paypal account setup by some Nigerians that claim to have the paypal account secrets. Like that is not enough, these accounts sometime get frozen without notice.
Above all, now that paypal is in Nigeria, what next? To me, it’s a thing of joy and happiness; I personally take it as the end of virtual slavery to Nigerians as long as internet marketing and transaction is concerned.
Many people use paypal not only for ecommerce business setup of management, but also to purchase goods and services easily on the internet without the risk of exposing their payment card details to a third party.
Moreover, many of the big and legitimate online merchants and service providers use paypal to collect their payment from clients and customers. And Nigerians have been denied access to these big time online products and service for a long time. Glory is to God, it’s over now! With paypal, Nigerians can conveniently buy e-products on Clickbank, sell on ebay and do business with almost any company in the world.

The amount of money makes no difference whatsoever. The subconscious mind doesn't distinguish between one penny and one million dollars. All it knows is how you feel.

Of course this manifests in many other ways as well. Whenever you do not accept a gift graciously, whenever you do not charge someone for work that you have done for them, or charge them way less than you should because you feel guilty, and whenever you sell a product for less than it is worth because you do not want to charge too much, you are generating the same emotions. So begin to be open to money, in whatever form, and begin to accept it's flow into your life, even if it's only a penny on the street.

How to use this principle today: Simply go for a walk today and look for money. You are sure to find at least a penny somewhere. Pick it up and thank the universe for bringing money into your life. Let your subconscious mind know that you are open and willing to accept money from any source.

As well, apply this principle in your working life. If you have been undercharging for your services, raise your prices. If you are not earning what you feel you should, ask for a raise. And whenever anyone gives you anything, especially money, accept it graciously and give thanks.

4. Be open to money-making opportunities. One thing that all self-made millionaires agree on is that there are opportunities everywhere, if we are just open to seeing them. You can prove this for yourself by looking at your own life. There are probably many times in your past which you think back to and wonder what might have happened if you had taken an opportunity at just the right time. Whether it's obvious things like career opportunities you let slip by, investment opportunities you didn't belive in, or less obvious opportunities like an idea you once had that is now making someone else rich, or an industry you could have joined before it became saturated.

If you are like most people, when you think of your past opportunities, you believe that you once had a chance but that opportunity is now gone. The difference between rich and poor people is that rich people realize that new opportunities are always all around us, all the time. You simply need to keep a look out for the opportunities, keep and open mind, and be prepared to take advantage when the opportunity arrives.

So avoid fear, anger, depression, and spend your time feeling good about yourself and your life.

If this is difficult for you, just practice. Begin with some small thing which brings you happiness. It could be as simple as watching a sunset, renting your favorite movie of all time, taking someone you love out for dessert, or anything at all.

The secret is to do these things whole-heartedly, with all your attention focussed on the happiness vibrating from your soul out into the world. This simple act will bring you rich rewards.

How to use this principle today: Don't just read this article and think "that sounds good" and then go back to your life. Pick something to do which will bring you happiness and do it today. It doesn’t matter what it is or how small it seems. In fact, you don't have to do anything at all. All that is important is feeling the positive emotions of happiness and joy emanating from your soul.

Think about all the competition we have:

And yes,  I realize longer emails get flagged as
spam sometimes.

But so can really short ones, too.

So I simply do what's most likely to get read.

2. More Personal

In copywriting, the first "sale" is to bond and establish
trust.

In other words, to be a FRIEND, first.

I like to think of y'all as my friends and even family
in a "cyber" sorta way.

When emailing your friends and family, do you send
them to a friggin' blog?

Do you ask mom to click a link to read what you
have to say?

Or do you write an email -- warts and all -- and
push "send"?

Which looks more personal?

'nuff said.

3. More Convenient

Email delivery is like pizza delivery:

You can offer "take out" and/or personal delivery.

I do delivery (with the option of take out -- i.e. my blog).

Reason why is because the chances of you reading are
FAR greater if I deliver the "food" to you,  than if I force
you to come pick it up.

Plus, this makes my food hot, fresh and EASY to consume.

If you pick the food up, it could be cold and stale,
easier to toss.

So I'm not anti-blogging (obviously).

I just believe in bringing food to you,  instead of making
you pick it up.

Anyway, that's my take on it.

[b]Every child is a natural-born entrepreneur. Perhaps it is the innocence of youth, the excitement of playing grown-up, or the challenge of trying something new, but children have the business mentality. Let me elaborate; how many lemonade stands have you passed (or run) in your lifetime? When you were young, did you travel the neighborhood asking to mow the grass next door for a few dollars? Did you sell candy or magazine subscriptions as part of a larger fundraiser only to realize you could make money in other, unique ways? Without any prodding on my part, my children are demonstrating this forward-thinking, self-sustaining attribute: one is thinking of someday opening a design shop while another wants to turn our living room into an art studio to sell his paintings. It is amazing to think that they have a concept and talent and wish to monetize it. Now I ask myself, what can I do to foster their entrepreneurial desire and give them an education above and beyond their school curriculum? There are three key strategies I want my children to know as they progress through the initial steps of this rewarding and fulfilling enterprise.
Upon recognizing a child's innate skills at creation, entrepreneurship, and even marketing, I want to take a hand in leading the way. A proactive approach of guidance will serve them here and now as well as here after. Remembering back to my childhood, I do wish my parents had been more proactive in fostering basic business and money concepts. Perhaps they did and I wasn't paying attention. However, I do not wish to sit back and assume my children will inherently know the ins-and-outs of running a small business (lemonade stand or home art studio). I will let my children know they are the business owner and I would like to assist, this is their venture. I will suggestions, but theirs is the ultimate decision. Along those lines, weekly meetings are important to give and receive feedback. How is the business going? What is the next phase envisioned? Though granted certain attributes, children often suffer from short-term memory or thought. This leads to the next point.

Most adults lack clear, focused vision as to where they are headed in life. This is doubly true with children and teens. It seems a cruel twist that adolescents think in terms of the immediate when the teen years are optimum for future preparation. As mentioned earlier, I want to encourage my children to think of the next step: how can we monetize this wonderful gift or creation? What should we do to fulfill the dream? I want my children to know that the procedure is as important as the invention/service. To this end, a clear road map is needed. The old adage of beginning with the end in mind will serve our children well. I do not wish to stifle the youthful creativity and optimism that so many adults lack. However, I will not be a silent partner.
