There are tasks which must be completed before we arrive at Christmas, but these, too, can be transformed with prayer.

Christmas cards are a good examples. We often promise that will send the cards. Make that prayer very real and personal (instead of praying in a generic manner).

Either pray over it card before you send it out, or, if you make a list of whom you send cards, pray for each name on the list (even if the prayer is simple lifting them up to the lord as you read off their name each day)

Christmas gifts at the same. We should pray before we go out shopping, while we are wrapping the presents, when we put them under the tree,� etc. (Remember, giving money to charity in another person's name is a great present).

Decorations should be prayed over so that each time we noticed them, they reawaken the Spirit of prayer and gratitude in us.

Spain now vs then

I drove to the airport this morning to drop off a woman who was to travel to Lagos today.



I saw this friend of mine who is a school teacher, holding a cane and snapping pictures with school children in front of a plane.



Obviously, they were on excursion to the airport.



I tried reaching him, but that was when they were climbing up the stairs to see the interior of the plane.



So I drove off.
