You're taking a massive hit selling at 80k after a couple of months bro, unless you didn't buy it brand new.

I'm getting 7 to 8 hours sot on my mi 8 though with heavy usage.
Maybe it's because I didn't log into my mi account though.

It's too late sha to hold onto it since you already picked up the oneplus. Last last it's good enough too.

Any tips on how to improve the front cam?
It's honestly more terrible than my Note 4X front cam. Photos are washed out somewhat.

Do I need root to install Gcam? If you have link to any reliable one pls share

You don't need root to install gcam on mi8 as it supports camera2api by default.

abdsamad:
If I can tweak it to stay at 30% after 12 hrs then I'll be fine wt it. It's a short term engagement anyway. Dash charge sounds fun. Wonder if they're referencing Dash from the incredibles

This is a better deal.

Leave Gptech o, na him Canon DSLR be that phone....

Huh
!
God forbid evil things. I'm swapping the ipad. If oneplus isn't so bad I'll stick wt it n sell mi 8 (can't use 2 phones). When my finances are in order I'll sell the oneplus and go for k20 pro or something similar at least a 4000mah battery. Mi 8 is perfect for me but for that battery wahala

As someone who has used the OnePlus 5 in the past I can tell you the battery life isn't great but the advantage it has is that the dash charge is really good as your phone can go from 0-100% in 65mins. Battery life is average at best. You are better off getting a powerbank to support it.

abdsamad:
In other news, my mi 8 may be on the market soon

You want to swap your mi 8 for the OnePlus 5?

abdsamad:
Hmm... I see your point. I suppose I could have the guy add some cash to it. I think at this point I'm really considering it just so I can get a taste for the phone itself. Plus I'm reaaaaaaaallly tired of the WiFi only ipad pro. Super hard to sell just cos it has no sim

I'll be a patient grasshopper

If you can get it for 70-80k ish, then it is not too bad. Anything above this price bracket is a no go.

acekid109:
Don't loud it jo

, If you know you know.

abdsamad:
Chief advisors...

I'm thinking about getting a oneplus 5 in a swap deal. It's 8/128 but I'm not sure if it'll be easy to sell when I'm done with it, probably in a month or three.

What's the reasonable estimated value for the device now if it's clean and locally used?

Anything you can tell me about the device would be appreciated

The oneplus 5 is a 2017 device (in the class of s8,s8+). it will be easy to sell if your asking price is "good" (around 70-80kish).

I personally wouldn't invest much on a fairly used device if the deal is not too fantastic(recently got an lgv30+ 4/128gb,sd835 for 55k and that is what i would call a sweet deal). Will i buy oneplus 5 8/128gb in 2019 for 80/90k? The answer is NO.

GrandMufti:
