My people I have almost same issue.ordered 2 products since febuary. One of the tracking code is saying item in route to post office while the other is showing error.buyer protection period has long expired.my first order on AliExpress

Can we see the one that is saying enroute to post office?

johnnyholtby:
i dont wanna sound impatient but please how soon? like this month soon?

No one knows,it could be this month or next, the only thing that is guaranteed is that you will be refunded if your item fails to land after 90days.

Elder0001:
Which one redmi s2 again

Google it.

Segunhife:
the issue is that most ppl don't read previous pages, they just jump to the latest one. I personally will click on the NEW just beside the last page number so I'll be directed to where I stopped read from

Exactly. Maybe this should be added to the compilation thread

kings4660:
I'd like to order something 4rm AliExpress although my first 2 orders since May haven't arrived yet (4PX) . What's the fastest shipping i could use (cainaio super economy global, yanwen economy, sunyou economy)

Yanwen and cainiao seem faster, but just zero your mind to within 8weeks.

genius43:
This happened
https://www.nairaland.com/3092803/xiaomi-thread/7514#91436404

That is exactly what I face from repeated asking for GCam links.

I personally feel you should stop doing this, let them use the search button or direct them to the first page that has all the compilation tips and If they are not cleared after following all the instructions, you can then help them out.

I would like to know what happens to a package left in the PO for months (abt 6 months). I ordered a package Dec last yr and forgot abt it due to their delayed shipping.. could it still be there waiting for me?

PS: AliExpress tracking says "waiting for pickup"

Screen shot the tracking page

CreepyBlackpool:
please can anyone estimate when the Redmi 9a/9c will buyable in Nigeria

No one knows, it will be available when it is available.

Qsand:
Stop lying. You didn't sell anything

2017?

stephenponti:
I ordered on 1st, today 5th tracking shows it has
Left country of origin, meaning airlifted, and its shipped via 4px.

It's still in china.

GrandMufti:
Na you buy am for am? Abi Na you register am for nairaland? Leave am Na.

I see what you did there.

chigirlangel:
Guys, is it safe to deal with this seller??

YES!!!

Meister:
If the aformentioned 'one' is an active follower of the xiaomi thread and also has a very good knowledge of phones it is safe to assume that the person is male

This line of thought is so 2010. Just saying.

holyboss1:
Hi guys, it's my first time with aliexpress.
I found a product there selling for $21 but ships for $111.

So I went on Alibaba and found the same item for $60 including shipping cost.

I am however skeptical about alibaba because I have never used it. Is the shipping/order processing similar to that of Alixpress?

Alibaba is for wholesale buying, you can't buy one pc of that item, there is a MOQ you'd have to buy.

Search for another store on alixpress that have the item you are looking for.

Meister:
That is now his/her business, I'm addressing him/her based on his/her profile

Do people just assume one is a male because there is no gender in one's profile? Strange.

Hete:
this number isn't complete o, abi you dey whine us ni

Check his signature.

Timblac:
I've got two units of both(Global ROM and Global variant)
Global ROM 68K
GLOBAL variant 71k

Ok then. Nice .

Timblac:
The redmi note 8(global ROM) from Jumia global has a better battery, better charger unlike the global version and above all uses MTN 4g here in Nigeria, was sceptical before I bought it for a friend because of everything I heard about it not being able to use MTN 4g
I prefer it to the global version........

What do you mean by "has a better battery"? You were lucky to be in a location where MTN has deployed the band 3, go out of that location and you might not be that lucky.

Timblac:
I've a brand new redmi note 8 for 71k

You should let her know that what you have is the global Rom (Chinese version) for the sake of clarity.

Na global Rom sef.

genius43:

He is buying from me. I'm in Ibadan. Bought things from Gidieberry online and physically

PM me.

engrjosefz:
pls any trusted seller here who could help me out to stand in as escrow... I want to buy a xiaomi fone from someone...

Who are you buying from?

peteregwu:
That's why you can't compare it to Samsung and Nokia. I have been reselling phones but Samsung and Nokia get more value in reselling used phones. But all the same, it is gradually gaining ground.

lollll, XIAOMI has a very good resale value even better than nokia and samsung, especially on nairaland.

I do not know what you guys are on about, if you want to sell your phone, name your price, ignore low ballers , sell at the amount you want except the price you placed on the phone is unrealistic.

techmaster092:
Make una leave me na, na price I price

And is your price fair? You won't see a 3/32gb for that amount except the person is in a big distress.

Just throwing out price for the sake of bargaining is uncool.

holurinde:
is Redmi 9 available in nigeria

No not yet.

ElvisMcCoy:
Some people no dey fear God ooo...

How can someone be pricing a mint condition RN8 4gb 128gb for 40k?
Not 3gb 32gb, not 4gb 64gb but 4gb 128gb? Ha! Na wao.

The new one goes for as high as 75k+.

True people need to fear God...

some people want to feel like they know how to bargain and most times end up with egg on their faces. Unserious lot.

olayinkajnr:
Or he can just sideload Netflix APK. It'll work.

DSTV Now on the other hand won't work unless he uses magisk hide because it'll always detect that his BL is unlocked.

Yes have already shared the Netflix link. Even DStv now will work,on very old version(like early 2019 version).

jboixxx:
Wetin we do, sir?

Global version--- Factory fitted Google services, supports major Telco 4G network depending on the device you buy.

Chinese version (global Rom)-- Manually flashed global Rom on a Chinese variant. Your device will have an uncertified Google play store and you will not be able to install apps like Netflix,DStv now from the play store. Limited support for Telco 4G network like band 7 and 20 for MTN, also depending on the device you are buying.

Performance, software and hardware are same on both variants ( global version and global Rom) and both supports all of our 3G networks.

jiro:
Good evening all. Pls kindly recommend a high end xaiomi that has a gorilla screen as my phones fall a lot. Also one with front facing finger print sensor or facial recognition. Thanks look forward to your suggestions

BUDGET?

High end will be in the region of 180-300k depending on what you want.
