Oh, thanks so very much for this analysis. I appreciate. But I still need some enlightenment with the below:

1. Is payment on both Ali express and Alibaba strictly based on pay before delivery ?

2. And If yes, pls how secured ? I want to believe the marketplace is free of scammers ?

3. And if not free of scammers, what are the signs to know the genuine suppliers there ?

4. And please hope nothing like shipping is stopped for now because of covid 19 ?.Hope no delay in delivery cos of that, especially if I will use DHL

Please I await your response. Thanks.

.

1. Of course it's pay before delivery, it's like buying on eBay and Amazon and expecting pay on delivery, lolll.
2. You can't be scammed cos Alixpress is serving as an escrow, the seller will only be paid after you received your item.
3. See number 2. You will be refunded in full if your item fails to arrive after 90days of shipment.
4. It's a global pandemic, logistics is definitely affected even with DHL but you should receive your item within 6 weeks using DHL. Note if you are buying a phone and you ship via DHL, you might be charged custom fee.

I doubt you'll ever buy a device this year.

Same thing all over again.

To answer your questions based on the guys review,

Battery: Yes
Price: asked Nure.x01
Camera: not gimmicks
SOT: more than 7 hrs. It's clearly stated in his review even though time wasn't stated. It's easy to figure out.
Brightness: Gosh, na wá.
Sound: no bẹ JBL speaker dey inside.

Hahahahahaha, I almost choked while reading this response. lollllll.

Phones › Re: I Want To Order For Redmi Note 8 Shipped From Abroad Because Its Cheap #48,900 , by fibonacci2526: 7:42am On Jul 08, 2020

Op maybe you are not aware, since over 3weeks jumia have increased their custom charges from 4k to half the price of the item you are buying. So if the phone is 50k , custom charge will be 25k. Making 75k excluding shipping. My advise, buy locally as you will get a brand new redmi note 8 for around 70k. See for example.

Just noticed something now. I helped a friend order an item as well. I changed the address and phone number to is own but mistakenly used my area zip code which is different from his own. Hope he won't have issues during delivery??

It will be delivered to your friend's address speaking from experience.

http://uzu.com.ng/product/xiaomi-redmi-9-4gb64gb/

Dunno if this is a way of promoting this site, all i can say is the site is\ shady.

So if i choose pay on delivery, i would have to pay 30% of the price of the item at the point of check out and pay the 60% when you deliver.

Una well done, this one na another format abi?

Pls should I be worried... On AliExpress app it shows order completed, while on other tracking site it's departed from transit country, on track24 it's send item abroad (EDI received). Please what is the next action to take, BP still remains 27days.

No you should not be worried, your item is still in transit. Open dispute after 27 days if it does not arrive.

In the statistics page about two month ago, it was showing ready for dispatch/ has left country of origin

Alixpress tracking page will most likely say left country when it is at "hand over to airline". Track with cainiao global and post the result.
