It was a fun-filled day on Friday 13th of September 2019 as the new book reading app in town had their maiden offline event tagged The Ficool Confab.
Various writers from different works of life attended the event, which was held at ATG House, Ikeja GRA, Lagos State. This, according to the user operations specialist, AbdulAzeez Atta is to provide the opportunity for the writers and users of Ficool to express their opinion on what they expect Ficool to provide for them.
The content operations specialist Olusola Alli and business development Specialist James Ezeoke also gave some insight on the contract been issued interested writers. James emphasised that the contract is been protected by the Nigerian copywrite law and that writers should not be afraid of bringing in their works.
Published and non-published writers from different locations attended and expressed that they would like to have more genres, as they have more writings that they wish to have on Ficool. Users also expressed their view in having parental control on the application as it also caters for the kids. Users also expressed gratitude because the app keeps their children off the street and away from bad company.
Ficool is a book reading application with over 50,000 stories to read from and it also has cool features for its users. Part of the features are offline reading, syncing your reading on different android devices, daily update of stories like series, different genre of literature and different tasks to perform and win coins for your reading pleasure.
With it’s launch on May 2019, it has already attracted a whooping 200,000 daily active users, and counting.
