I never wanted to share this story cos i don't believe in dreams. I dreamt that nnpc will take 700 applicants. It started making meaning to me when i read in a forum than nnpc will take 700 to 1000. My dreams hardly come true except when i woke up sweating profusely from a dream that nigerian played tunisia 2 : 2. Apart from that others hardly come true, I just want to say it before i become joseph. Please where are u people getti d info about this september? This he-said-she-said info may be false. I 'll really like it he it's sept but i am more concern about being taken. Let's face the fact. Nnpc will not take every body. Life will not end if i am not taken. I think d decision of those that will b taken had been made right from when you left d interview room.

Regarding d criteria i am cocksure, cos i saw it with my eye before the interview, ie during e normal verification at their reception. I got disturbed a little cos i av heard nairalander said that they weren't asked ?s about nnpc. Maybe u impressed them well,cos, after they ask me series of ?s in my discipline, they were kinda impressed that the chairman almost discharge me. Bt one of them asked me to wait n be asked me a ? On nnpc. He listed 4 subsidiaries n asked me to state the sector they belong(up stream etc.i got 3. D chairman said i got three n asked me again on the one i failed. During d ntaview i saw one of dem me scoring 40/50. The criteria acordi to d fomat given nnpc by philips includ. Knwleg of nnpc- 5marks. Dressi 5 marks ,ability 2 analyse 10. Ability to think outside comfort zone 10. The remaini 3 i can't remember. 2 are 5 each and the other 10. I saw him scoring me 8 in the 10 marks and 4 in d 5 marks. Each of them in d panel has d scoring sheet. One of them even told me said he hope to in one town in my state. I was wonderi . When i got home i discovered that that is where one of their subsidiaries is. I think almost all those in this forum invited for the interview did well because of information made available. That gave us confidence and edge. Up up we go!

Who knows the total number called for the interview? I heard from some quarters that they didnt invite more than they can recruit. Meani that they may employ many or almost every body ,though ,i still don't know how many that is. The way and manner the interview went suggest that it is not going to be a stiff competition. I am only inferring. DON'T QUOTE ME O !

@fperfect7. How sure are u about october. I asked them during the interview and was told to wait for 2 to 3 months. Mine took place on 17 of this month. Only God know how many they may take, cos the interview look like mere formality.
