ok, let me talk. i have sent my application to the embassy last week monday in order to meet up with the 3months deadline cos my college will resume on 7th sept but my docs was not fully completed because my uncle how was suppose to give me his financial documentation of his business like the invoice receipts and update statement of account was out of town. so i had to send the rest of the docs and the statement ending 24th of march to the embassy. now he is around and he has given me the update statement of account and all other financial documentation of his business.
My question is, can i send them to the embassy now to update the docs i sent last week. pls i need you advise now. wat do u think i should do.
i need you r urgent response everyone

U shouldnt be askin dat Q o, start runnin 2 CDHC to submit the updated account statement or else u'll be givin dem a reason to do wat they know how to do best ( u know now), DONT GIVE DOSE GUYS CHANCES

Finally submitted my docs to CDHC on thurs, 28 may 2009.
I pray the waiting game dosent take too long

I think its risky for you to say you want to travel to canada just to work for your uncle when you come back! consider it oh. it does not sound convincing to me from here. canada( from what i eventually got from the embassy) have seen 'successful' people claiming assylum etc once they got there. so please beware of that line.
look for something more convincing. of course they will want to be assured that you will come back. tie it to something you have been doing in Nigeria or something you have a passion to do. you already have family ties already but they may still want something extra.
or just say you want to study to enhance your employability in Nigeria.

@ igbogolo, i totally agree wit u o. Sponsoring some1 abroad jus '4 u 2 come and work wit him in a one-man bizzness' dosent sound convincing to me o. Abeg do the re-packaging if u've got time.

@aydracula, I want u 2 understand dat CDHC has far less applications to process in Feb compared to may till august because academic seissions generally start september. So most ppl apply may or b4 and so wait longer.
Dont also forget u've previously applied, so some verifications would have already been done by CDHC thus reducing ur processing time
Thus ppl who hv prevoiusly applied or applying first during the less busy times tend to wait less 4 their visas

some schools does not require TOEFL or SAT. these schools are better because TOEFL or SAT have wasted several student,s years, its not all that easy to pass.

Pls stop deceiving ppl. TOEFL or SAT is not such a big deal to ace, its just a basic english test. I encourage people to write them because most of the gud schools require them.
