Fummiee:Yes, he/she becomes CAD citizen. How much? Hmmmmmm , Interesting question , anyway its freeeee (if you have health insurance which is fortunately freeeeeeeeee also) <someone somewhere must be getting excited, BUT you have to qualify for the insurance cover though> |
femochi62:Like I said sir, dont misunderstand me. Good luck with whatever you do . . . . and dont forget to visit the West Edmonton Mall |
femochi62:Whats USI sir? Dont misunderstand me, i just dont appreciate spammers here |
femochi62:I'm just curious. You just got here (this is may) and you are in Edmonton to study. What seission would that be please? spring, winter or fall? "The Insurance and Risk Management Diploma program at MacEwan begins early September and runs for 13 months continuous". Its a bit strange you came to Edmonton in may to resume a diploma program in september. |

spoilt:U're reply makes sense, it appears to be a more reliable option but I just cant think of anyone in Abj right nw . Will probably think harder. Does that mean there are no reputable businesses that do home deliveries in Nigeria God help us. |
Hi Landers, I'm hoping some one can help me out here. I live abroad and a very close friend's birthday is in a few days time. I want a cake delivered at her office at Abuja. Does anyone know any bakery I could contact that would be capable of receiving payment from outside Nigeria (via a credit or debit card). Thanks Romantically yours, Fidelo ![]() |
Siena:Dats true, I'm CONFUSED. Wont say more. Back to life on the fast lane. |
Siena:I was just bored, saw this thread and just hopped in to pass some time and Siena ended up making my time here worthwhile. Thanks for the argument but its time to get busy again. @ Siena, just try to visit the US this summer, I'm sure you will fall in love - Vegas, Miami, Orlando, Hawaii, Palm Beach, various spots in California and the hated New York - SHEER VARIETY. Compared to Birmingham, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Glasgow - all boring, I would rather go to Paris. Ok, keep the debate going on. Time to hop out. ![]() |
Siena:Sienna dear, dont get too emotional, its not a presidential debate. Of course I assume u've been to both cities. I see UK on ur location so i can feel the bias creeeping in - afterall u're a fan like u said. i dont live in either city but being to both (severally). Maybe u're using a different yardsticks to compare but if its abt being modern then London is way behind. And please if you can afford the 8-bedroom mansion, please buy it, it dosent bite. And wat do you mean by a lot of nigerians, wat percentage of Nigerians own those big mansions u're even talking about in those 2 citites. So ur British people dont buy mansions. Hisssssss, I'm out jare. |
I cant believe london is being to compard to NYC, Anyway i'm sooo anti-UK, little houses, little, annoying right-hand drive cars, annoying accent, soooo conservative lifestyle and all. London, used to be cool, no more. In fact, i'll pick my Toronto over London. If u disagree. . . . bring it on. ![]() |
dearstan:Blank email sent. U're welcome to ask me watever, hopefully I can answer. |
Hellow peoples, Good 2 see our thread is goin on strong. Benom asked wer I've been , I'm here. To the doctor thinking of immmigrating to Canada, i might have some useful tips 4 u. She was right when she said her degree is not recognized but there's a way around every situation, (dats if she gets to read this). Peace! PS - @ Delta, u're awesome man. its hard to believe u reply to all these enquiries (most of which has been already answered severally). Keep up the good job. Btw wat city are u in? i'm planning some sort of Canada-wide tour this summer to relieve some stress ![]() |
suxes2005:If I have lots of money to throw around on education, i'll go the US. If I have a limited budget but also want a good education, i'll pick Canada. BUT sincerely, lots of factors have to be considered in making such a decision (i.e. dnt just depend on my earlier statement). |
Hotstepper:Stepper, i hope u're ready 2 answer wat d 'major universities' r wen they start asking, Howz tins goin wit cha? |
cconcept:Nice idea. @ benom,i replied ur mail. I spoke wit cconcept and his application sounds rily Strong to me. U'll have a lot 2 learn from him Gud luck guys |

cconcept:The reply shld be siting in ur inbox by now. "Best thing is to look to your parents or other relatives who can claim you are working for them in the meantime and provide some information like an official letter, or that they have a job for you that you'll start off when you return" I'm sorry to state dat dose parents, relative stuff dosent work any more. If it did, half of Naija will be in Canada nw, I'm sure u knw dat and d consular officers knw dat too.Pls think out sth more plausible or else , |
johnkent:Windsor is a nice school in Ontario, a very close friend of mine graduated from there abt 2 yrs ago and he's doing rily fyn. It also depends on the program u're looking at, diff schools tend to be very gud in some specific programs and not so excellent in others. |

If ur visa is issued u also get it tru courier. Read tru dis thread well 4 mo info or go 2 d cic website Hp dis helps u |
Hi Kommentato, I'm presently pursuing an MPH degree in Canada wit plans to specilaize in Epidemilology or international health. Dunno much abt Uni Ottawa bt the top schools for epi would be McGill, U of Toronto,U of Saskatchewan U of Alberta or U of BC (not very sure if the last 2 have epi programs though). Of all ur cheapest option shld be the U of S. These schools accept a 2.1 as minimum, to get accepted wit 2.2 wil depend on if u have quality experience already in the area. Canadians r very nice , contact d school of ur choice 2 find out if u'l be considered Good luck |
Hello everyone, Sorry, I missed some questions directed at me. The preferred method of education here appears to be loading students wit assignments (so there's barely tym to do much NLing) I'll try 2 peep in mo often dese days though since I noticed its application period. I'm planning to spend d thanksgiving weekend in Vancouver just to get away from the stress here 4 a while, during dat period i guess i'll hv mo time to fill in some folks who still have Qs. GOOD LUCK ALL ! |
suxes2005:Yeah, i knw. Dats y i put 'luck' as part of personal ties, mayb i shld av called it 'favour' or 'grace' lyk u pointed out |
