Foreign Affairs / Re: What Are The Direct Implications Of Coup In Africa To The Rest Of Africa? by Figger(m): 10:51am On Aug 30, 2023
Democracy is not good for Africa, until then, let the military prevail. Forget about the west, we're not the same people intellectually, so what works for them may not work for us. Democracy has not benefited us in any way. I remember in the 80s and 90s, things were way much better than now, so u can see the difference is glaringly clear.

WHAT AN IRONY OF LIFE?

Do you know that the only tree a monkey cannot climb is the banana tree.

Paradoxically, banana is what monkey likes the most. This implies that anytime banana is found in the hand of a monkey, it is most likely a gift from someone. The question is, why then can't Monkey climb banana tree, but can climb the tallest trees in the forest? Hence, the phrase "Who dash monkey banana?" was coined.

This little analogy is full of divine message to the right thinking human being. In the journey of life, there are several things you like but will never be achieved unless you are given by God Almighty. Therefore, it is not of him that willeth or of him that runneth but of God that showeth Mercy.

May His mercy continue to abide in, and with everyone of us forever.

Good morning, children of God and happy weekend.

Reminds me of one Randy lecturer in my Dept. those days whose office had an inner room with a bed in it. So infamous for sleeping with students until he met his Waterloo, he died in the most miserable way.

If they introduce sharia now and hijab for ladies for u will be crying foul here. I remember my days in a northern university. We Christian’s rejected all those sharia motives that they wanted to impose on us by the sug governor which is a Muslim. And Christian student associations is very strong in my school self
during my time as an undergrad, UNN precisely 2006-2010, the level of indecent dressing in high institutions wasn't as bad as it is presently, yet my faculty and many others introduced uniforms to cushion the effect, how much more now that social media has polluted every atmosphere of good moral upbringing. U won't believe as a business student those days, I never knew how to knot a Tie until those changes were made regarding dress code. We shouldn't be imitating the west on everything.

Good 👍 other universities should follow suit. The moral decadence in our high institutions these days is nothing to write about. I remember during our own time, we were forced to dress in corporate attire, so a uniform was introduced with that, sanctity was restored.

Lol, you are judging a total stranger and comparing yourself to him. The fact that the guy in question has not achieved as much as you have achieved doesn't automatically imply that he is lazy. Mr. man, if you can't help others, let them be; don't contribute to their problem. Sometimes, words can be sharper than swords. Must you comment, he said his friend is on the verge of giving up, and you wrote this. Where is your conscience?
don't mind the bastard, there's an adage that says "those whose palm karnel are cracked for them by a benevolent spirit should not forget to be humble".

Very good.

Seems Military regimes is the antidote to demo-crazy in Africa.

They've always preached about democrazy being the best form of government, yet it has little or zero impact on the common man in Africa. For me it is the highest form of aristocracy.
Of what use is a system of government if the will of the people is always manipulated and truncated by select powerful few.

Democracy is not democracy if the institutions (courts, federal character commission, media, INEC, e.t.c) meant to uphold it are in the pocket of these agbada-wearing gluttons.

Africa's type of democracy stinks...tueeh!
It's high time we put this democracy sh1t to an end. It's not helping us in any way.
