Just to support your claim, Nigeria don't appreciate artisans, especially professions like Mechanic,panel,painter, welder and so on. I don't know the value of it too until I travel to Libya, then I know better. Right now I'm a professional car painter, but I can say a professional in his craft, earn and live well than someone working in a bank or a salary earner.
I learn about the car painting stuff here, and I can only thank God because that's what pays my bill both here and back home.. imagine painting this articulated vehicle and getting as much as 500k to 600k. work that can be done in 7days or lesser. You can see the difference.. Government need to give attention to artisans, they are raw income. Here in Libya the workshop will provide every thing you need for your work, then on every car or job done, you split the money into two equal part, one for yourself and the other for the workshop.. you make 1m, your share is 500k and workshop owns 500k.. that's a cool business if you ask me.d pic is attached 👇
