I'm also a doc. Most times our greatest weakness is "to knowism" . Take time to analyze the Criticism whether constructive or not, improve on your self by bending over and be humble. Sometimes when you know better you need to keep quiet so people can learn on their own without you making yourself the sacrificial lamb.

Its 6 years on paper. earliest possible time (real life) is 7 years plus one year housemanship making it 8 years. Some are even more than that.

I graduated from UI 5yrs 11month. 2009 set. Make your findings well before you generalize please

The major fact is it's a lot of hard work. Depending on your level of assimilation and IQ. If you're an average student then you'll have to learn how to read extra hard
You should also understand that you must balance the fact that though you're reading to understand and treat people, when its exam period you need to focus on reading to satisfy the examiners.
How do you do that?
Understand what works for you asap
Ones you do this you then have a workable time table
You need to have a good tutorial group
You'll need access to recent past questions
Build a good rapport with your teachers. They appear scary with their level of knowledge, ones you can break away from your shyness and bias you'll find most of them approachable
Try and avoid too many distractions including studying and working
Develop courage to face any circumstances with determination to succeed
God God God factor. Makes all the difference

veteniary medicine, Dentistry and Dental surgery and pharmacy are all tougher than medicine. just that medicine is more difficult to get into.

He is very right. Pastor Chris is a human being. God's word is divine and unchangeable. You can't justify a man's misdemeanor with another human being. Read the bible for yourself not by another man's standard please.
