O'level = 50points; Jamb Score = 50points.

So, for ur utme, divide it by 8. E.g suppose you scored 288, it'll be 288/8 =36. That means out of 50points accruable to utme, you've secured 36.

For O'level. This is how it goes:

A1=6points
B2=5points
B3=4points
C4=3points
C5=2points
C6=1points

So, let's say your result looks like this

Maths B2 (that's 5points)
English C4 (that's 3points)
Physics A1 (that's 6points)
Biology B3 (that's 4points)
Chemistry A1 (that's 6points)

Summing the points together, you have 5+3+6+4+6 =24 (out of possible 30)

It'll now be:

24/30*50 = 40. (It means for O'level, you've secured 40 out of possible 50).

Putting the two together, you have

40+36 =76.
So, your aggregate is 76.

You'll realise that though the grades and scores are impressive, a candidate who had this last year would not secure admission to UI, UNILAG or OAU medicine. And that's the import of my post. With huge scores this year, the cut-off may even be higher.

The Joint Admission Matriculation Board, JAMB has Re-Open the Correction of JAMB UTME Subjects Combination Portal for candidates who made mistake in their subject combination.

Notice:

The Portal for correction UTME subjects combination closes by 10am on Friday May 12, 2017

Also note that if your Examination date is Saturday May 13, 2017 and you correct your UTME subjects, you won't be able to write your exam on that date again.

A new Examination date and time shall be communicated to you at a later time. The change in date of Examination does not affect other Examination dates.

Guys you don't have to wait for a mail from jamb. you can do it yourself now.

jamb has made the portal for reprinting available.
It was just opened this morning.

Though the portal is slow but people are reprinting.

JAMB Portal for Reprinting 2017 UTME Exam Slip Is Now Openned- Check Yours Now

The Joint admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has openned the Portal for all 2017 UTME candidates Reprinting 2017 UTME Exam Slip.

JAMB has made it easy in the sense that you dont have to go to any accredited centre to reprint your 2017 UTME slip. You can do it yourself in your home and office provided you have a printer


HOW TO REPRINT YOUR 2017 UTME SLIP YOURSELF

1. Visit the official JAMB Portal at this link: www.jamb.org.ng and click on the button that says "Print UTME 2017 Examination Slip".

If you want to visit the direct Exam Slip Reprinting Portal, then Click Here.

2. When the printing portal loads up, Enter your JAMB Registration Number or Email address you used to register for the exam.

3. Click on "Print Examination Slip" to Pop-Up your Exam slip.

4. Leave your mouse and then Hold "ctrl" and press letter "P" on the keyboard (at the same time) to print the slip.

As usual, you should print 2 copies of the UTME Examination Slip in Full Colour. You will submit one at the Exam Hall and you have to keep one for reference.

The portal may be a bit slow but you have to keep trying again until you are successful at printing your UTME Examination Slip.

If you have any issues, you can always use the comment section to converse with one of the admin on Guru9ja, so we can solve your problem.

Jamb have not provided any portal link to reprint jamb slip. what they are doing presently is they are sending a random mail to candidates. so...from the mail, camdidates will be able to reprint their jamb slip.

so..you just have to chill still jamb send urs but I believe jamb will open a portal soon for candidates to have access to reprint their slip

no..you can print it yourself. Once u login to your portal, u will be allowed to print the slip
