The same divide and rule GEJ used that failed him is what JK is using. Igbo people should not allow themselves to be used by JK as they have much to loose if the ethinic war started.

what will it takes for this ohaneze or whatever to go and die in the Lagoon even before the election? The owner of the land had spoken. If you are not ok with it, move your businesses to Onitsha and Aba in protest. Ambode will win without your votes and you shall suffer after the election.

PoliticsLate Usman Jibrin Family Disowns Anti-buhari Documentary by finni(op): 12:32pm On Jan 28, 2015
The family of late Group Captain Usman Jibrin has declared as untrue the statement in an anti-General Muhammadu Buhari documentary currently running on national TV stations , which claimed that the late captain had described Muhammadu Buhari as corrupt.

A statement signed by Alhaji Imran Jibrin, Alhaji Marwan Jibrin and Simwal Jibrin for the Jibrin family said “We want to unequivocally state that it is 100% untrue, misleading and totally unfair to the memory of our father.”

The release read in part: “The attention of the Late Group Captain Usman Jibrin family has been drawn to a mischievous advertorial running on some national dailies, notably Punch Newspapers, and some TV stations like AIT, quoting our late father as calling General Muhammadu Buhari as corrupt.

“Our late father lived a simple, non partisan and scandal free life, he was a statesman and nationalist.

“He was a father to all and maintained a cordial relationship with General Muhammadu Buhari from when they were young officers until his death a few years ago.”

The family said it served the disclaimer “as a cease and desist notice to all the desperate people trying to drag his name into politics.

“If this lie continues, we will be left with no option but to instruct our lawyers to institute a legal action against any newspaper or TV station using our Father's name to promote their devilish agenda. (STO) revolutionized the way Lagos
State finances
were raised, budgeted, managed and
planned. In
his six years as the Lagos State
accountant
general, the state's financial
performance improved
visibly with the budget performing at
a remarkable
average of 85% annually. Ambode
believes that
"public financial management is
about ensuring
that public money is well spent and it
is made to
stretch as far as possible. It provides
leaders and
public-sector managers with
information to make
decisions and to know if they are
using resources
effectively.

Association (FEGOCOWOSA) and is
credited with
revitalizing the Lagos branch of the
Association.
Ambode was a two-time chairman of
the Lagos
State Branch, and, until recently, was
the National
President of the Association, a
position he held for
three years. In those three years, he
executed key
projects in the school in conjunction
with the
alumni network to improve the
educational and
living standards of the students.
THE PUBLIC FINANCE CONSULTANT
After 27 years in the civil service,
Ambode
voluntarily retired in August 2012. He
founded
Brandsmiths Consulting Limited to
provide Public
Finance and Management Consulting
services to
government at all levels, its
parastatals and
agencies. Brandsmiths, in
collaboration withPrice
Waterhouse Coopers, has trained
government
accountants and finance personnel
to prepare them
for the cut-over to the International
Public Sector
Accounting System (IPSAS) which is
to become
effective in 2015.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
His belief in mentoring and passion
for passing on
leadership skills gave birth to La
Roche Leadership
Foundation, which he founded in
2012. This is a
non-profit organization that has a
mandate to
develop the educational and
leadership skills of
young Nigerians, to inculcate in them
leadership
values as a way of grooming future
leaders in all
spheres of life. La Roche is presently
spearheading
an initiative, ‘The Flags Project’, to
install Nigerian
and Lagos State flags in all
government owned
schools in Lagos State. The
Foundation has also
donated tools to technical colleges to
support
training of artisans.....

Another thing that may work for Koro favor is that he doesn't have a godfather. You know party rank and file are tired of godfatherism, I am seriously anticipating Lagos Primaries of PDP. I am convinced that George's camp will get MAJORITY slot, but Koro will get the guber ticket. What happens after primaries? This I can't tell.

Meanwhile, a disunited APC and PDP may open the floodgate for DPA... Protest vote things
The fight will still end with APC and PDP...Otedola's permutation will not happen here. I see an unsatisfied Koro dumping PDP for another neutral party though!

Bros that 2007 eh, Bode George's boys voted against PDP in the guber election, most of them that i know voted for DPA(there were my bros cheesy) . He was also accused of hoarding the N3 billion given to him by the PDP headquarter to prosecute Koro's election. As for now, I read an article where Koro said Lagos PDP is united under the leadership of BG. Well I hope PDP is divided in 2015
Koro and Bode George are not on the same page as far as PDP Lagos is concern at this moment. I was at the Koro declaration event at National Stadium of recent and could not find any prominent PDP leader in that event.

Popular in which area of the state? GOS originated politically from Mushin and I'm putting it to you that he has lost the support even in that area. Are you suggesting Tinubu and Fashola should support GOS in lieu other competent candidates in the race?
PoliticsRe: Live Updates Of Lagos Apc Guber Primaries by finni(m): 3:18pm On Dec 04, 2014

If so, then its probably the handwork of the impunitive Amaechi protesting Wike as guber candidate.
Amechi must be that powerful to be the one controlling even the PDP folks in Rivers State. Kudos to him then.

My friend I want to assume that you followed 2007. Many things changed...
1. The furore against Tinubu over imposition of Remi in 2011 is still there
2. GOS bloc(though overrated) are angry and bitter over the 2007 ish
3. Obanikoro has not lost much political followership, people in Lagos Island still respect him. In fact, Jide was declared winner of LG polls by the Court in 2011, though a higher court upturned it.
4. Unlike 2007, PDP looks to be more united, joining of forces with aggrieved APC aspirants may yield Ogun 2011, Oyo 2011 and Ekiti 2014 outcome.

My point is APC must be very careful... but like you said, BAT and BRF must work hand in hand if they don't want to lose Lagos
I agree with most of your points but the item 4. The PDP I see in Lagos of today has never be this divided as they now show it openly unlike in 2011 when Bode George pretended to support Koro why reverse was the case.

I just feel sorry for the likes of Tokunboh wahab , Hamzat nd d rst dey tried.

Are you for real? Are you out of Lagos? Ambode has been the most vibrant in terms of publicity among the candidates. Sasore only came out beaming of late.

The news was on national TVs; I saw it on Channels TV.
PoliticsRe: Live Updates Of Lagos Apc Guber Primaries by finni(m): 2:59pm On Dec 04, 2014
barcanista:
I expect Musliu Obanikoro to fly PDP ticket with the running mate coming from Bode George's camp. I fear a United PDP because already GOS and other camps within the APC are feeling bitter against Tinubu. Fashola should be allowed to nominate the Deputy Governor so as to give him sense of belonging because he brought a lot of credibility to ACN(APC) in Lagos and the SW. An aggrieved Fashola will spell doom for Lagos State APC... Remember what happened in 2011 LG polls where PDP took ACN by storm. This time, I expect a tough fight from the PDP Camp
Fashola has no option than taking whatever the outcome of this primary as he is a product of the same process. People like GOS has nothing to offer Lagos State and as such should go and perish in the political wilderness with Koro if he likes; because after 2015 election, there will be nothing for the likes of Koro again in Lagos politics.
